Independance Port 12:37 pm Warehouse district
A shovel hits the dirt and is slowly scooping up concrete and soot and is swong over into a wheelbarrol by a city employee who continues his daily rant over the latest clean up his crew has to do, "....All I am saying is I am sick of doing this day after day, cleaning up after...Hey Carl who was da hero battle today?" Carl walking over clumps of street and mounds of dirt trying not to fall down, " Dr. Amazing." screams Carl. Throwing his hands up and shaking his head in disgust, "Dr Amazing? Dr. Amazing, amazing Dr. Amazing aint ere leaning up his mess. He nova blasts dis place to take out da Bertelli part of da Family Colalition and is he ere to help? Nooo! Some hero dat one is, right Paul?" Stunned by the silence shouts "Paul? Hey Pauly? You better not be sitting down smoking again, cause I aint covering your a... " Paul screams up in a almost shaken and shocked voice "Frank,.... call 911." Frank throws down his shovel begins running down to Paul down by the shore followed close by Carl curious as to see what going on sees a dead girl on the river bank.
1:09 pm The police having had the area sealed off as sirens and police chatter fill the warehouse distrct,a car arrives and parks two of Paragon City detectives arrive on the scene. Detective Brisco from New York City and his Paragon City partner Cole. An officer meets them as they get out of the car.
Officer: About time you guys showed up.
Brisco putting his badge on his belt," Yeah, we broke so many speeding laws to just cause you needed us so bad". Cole putting on his jacket adjusts his collor and tie as if he was impressing a date. "Your pretty enough, or would you rather stay here at the car and make sure you impress yourself?" says Detective Brisco. Cole snaps back" Hey someone has to look as if they take care of themselves when they come to work and look professional". " Uh huh" Replies Detective Brisco.
The threee officers walk over to the Stratcher with where the bag with the body is in.
Detective Brisco, " Like to tell us officer what is going on?"
Officer" Oh right, some city employees were cleaning up the damage done by a hero when he was battling the Family in that..I mean what is left of the building there."
Cole" .....What the hero didn't stay to have pictures taken by the press over a job well done on beating the bad-guys?"
Brisco" Too busy, has to destroy something else, go on officer."
Officer: Well these guys found the Body of a dead girl on the river bank."
Cole: Was she in the building when the hero was fighting?"
Officer: Thats what we thought when the med guys found that her throat was cut"
Cole: ....And a hero was not too far from her."
Brisco: Too bad he was busy looking good for the camera to notice".
