with the recent announcement of Microsoft's new "Shadowrun" game (please note the quotes around Shadowrun), and it being an FPS, this idea is becoming much more attractive - you can certainly do the costumes up to be like SR, and can do street sams with katanas, cyberspurs, physads with martial arts, mages with the energy blasters, mercs with the gun blasters, etc.
overall, i'm thinking COV is the better backdrop for doing this sort of thing - especially when it comes to mayhem missions.
i'd be willing to help start something up, get an SG up and going, etc....we just need to come to a concensus on which server to base it on...
Hmm yes chosing a server becomes the real issue. But regardless, some one should already have a lvl 10 villain on the cov server we chose so they can make the vg, then if they don't want to be in the vg thats fine we promote the Johnson/Fixer or what ever we name them so that everyone who makes a Runner can start earning prestige for the VG asap.

And maybe an future Alt of Gypsy....
But we do need a server. This could be fun.

I just read the Shadowrun thread over in General Discussion. There seems to have been a pretty popular responce. So it was only a matter of time before someone posted this one.
Anyone wanna play in a Shadowrun SG here on CoH or even in CoV when it comes out? I don't have the time to set that up. You bring your best Runners & I'll bring mine. Just name the server, a time, & an SG. I'll see you there Chummers.
