((Looking to "break into" RP community. Advice?))

((OOC: Hey all. I've been a longtime CoH player and started my main last April with the intent of RPing. So, I joined Virtue, wrote out a background and everything. Thing is, I have no idea where to start with RPing her (she's a level 37 MA/SR scrapper now). I did find an SG that RP'd a while ago that she could join, but after only a couple months with those people, the group broke up and I was back on the street. I suppose what I'm looking for is advice on how to get started RPing. If this comes off as a rather strange request, sorry, I don't have much experience with communities and have trouble dealing with new people. But, well, it doesn't really make sense to play an MMORPG if one is going to solo almost exclusively, right? I want to make an attempt to stop soloing and see some people for once.

Well, since we don't know what RP is, but live in Paragon, you could try calling us sometime. We have a therapist's office in Talos, where we help people who think there is some bigger world. It is amazing that some have this delusion that they are 'controlled' by some other being, some operator.

Well, if you want to visit or just chat, call us, Sibling, on the Global Chat Network, way better than Verizon. Be yourself, that is our advice.

I think I'll try that as well, I've been on the hunt for fellow RP-ers myself. Anybody ever gather in the club thats in steel canyon?
