I'm surprised no one commented on Max's story. So, I will! It's a great story. A little long... be sure you've got plenty of time to read.

I'm hoping for any comments/criticisms. I know it's pretty darn long but...I'd appreciate anything anyone has to say! 
Ok, I think this is the right place to post this up. Any and all comments are welcome. I wrote this a couple of months ago, just got around to throwing it up on the main boards. It's pretty long, and I've got it broken up into chapters. This is the first time I've written anything of this length, and I believe that parts of the story makes that fairly obvious. Also, there are some glaring grammatical errors that I had fixed, but I lost the updated files and then lost the heart to go back and fix it yet again.

A little introduction on what exactly this is. It's a Fan Fic based in CoH (duh) and largely follows my character, Max Winters (Assault Rifle/Devices Blaster), and my fiancee's character, Meg Winters (Ice/Storm Controller). Some of our SG-members have starring roles as well.
This all got started when my fiancee and I wrote character bio's that fit together. We got quite a few comments from other players, and through her encouragment, I took it a step further and wrote a story out of it all.
Here are our original bios that the story expands upon.
Max Winters: Max Winters was once a detective of the Paragon Police Department...in 2703. His world was being ravaged by a nameless villain, and the end of all life was near. In his research to find this villain he came across an old file in the PPD database. It mentioned a Meg Masterson searching for a person that fit the description of Paragon's soon-to-be destroyer. Further research showed that she came close to finding and killing this villain, only to be killed herself. Realizing that he had a chance to save Paragon's future in the past before this villain grew too powerful, Max infiltrated the PPD Portal Facility without authorization and transported himself into the past; Meg's present. Knowing that Meg would eventually find this nameless villain, Max joined with her to help her complete her task. Now, having fallen in love with her, Max worries about her safety and their future confrontation with this powerful foe.
Meg Winters: Meg Masterson-Winters was once a world renowned climotologist. A freak accident during her hike up to Mount Everest left her hands and toes severely frostbitten. One day, while sifting through her hospital records, she found evidence confirming her mishap was really no fluke. A nameless villain residing in Paragon City was responsible for her misfortune. Armed with what little information she had, Meg Masterson prowled through the streets of Paragon City constantly looking for more clues. On her quest for vengeance, she met and fell in love with Max Winters, an assault specialist who claims to be a protector from the future. Bound by love, and a longing for peace, they work side by side hoping to rid Paragon City and the world of this anonymous criminal once and for all!
