Paragon City is SO much different than home! I swear, I think half the population here are heroes! I've never seen so much spandex! And armor. And fire. And ice. And.....
And I met a prince. That's right, an honest-to-goodness prince. He gave me my assignments. Seems like a really nice guy. I also met a vampire. A hero vampire. Seemed nice, but really creepy.
For all the heroes here, crime sure is a problem. You can't hardly walk down the street without seeing some jerks harrassing some old lady. There are two gangs I've been dealing with, the Hellions and the Skulls. The Hellions wear orange and red, and cover their faces with bandanas, and the Skulls wear black and gray, and have these weird white skull masks. Creepy. They're pushing this drug called Superdine, or something like that. I busted several of their labs.
Oh, yeah! A lady I saved from a mugging said my costume was great. I said you designed it for me. I love it. Thanks, Sis.
And that's not even the most bizarre thing that happened to me today. I saw not one, not even two, but FOUR giant snow monsters! And I helped fight them too. FOUR of these things! They were HUGE! I think I was as tall as their knees! And wow, do they pack a punch!
Not to worry, the medical facilities here are great. All heroes are given an emergency teleport beacon, and if we get hurt, we can teleport directly to the hospital. I, um, had to use it several times today. But don't worry, and don't tell Mom. I'm fine. Between the hospital and my mutant healing, you'd hardly know I'd gotten hurt at all.
Well, it's late, and I'm exhausted from my first day here. I wish you could be here. You'd love it. I miss you all. Give Mom and Dad my love, and keep some for yourself.
