Leaping out and crying "DOOM" is "hyperbole". I was being quite serious when stating that everything I had come across as a new feature of the issue, was in some way broken, glitched, bugged. It's not doom being expressed so much as disappointment. It's not impatience, it's *disappointment* and that sentiment very much needs to get across to management. The fact that this issue was pushed through the door to coincide with the Annaversary *despite* so many of these issues being reported in both closed and open beta is very disturbing indeed. At that point good management should have made the call for Quality over Convenience.

I also have been with the game from the start. I have seen issue after issue and generally don't feel bad about them at all. I expect bugs and smoothing-out to occur. I do not expect *this*, however. This is definetely a stand-out, enough that I actually came to the forums, a place I don't generally go. It's just not my thing. But the severity of some of the bugs and the sheer number of them this time around caught me offguard.

I very much understand the emotional need for some people to stand up and Defend the Game! no matter what. I love this game. That's why I'm here, stating this. I love it. I love seeing it evolve, I love seeing the enthusiasm the developers still have for the game as a living entity. That's why I came here to report the disappointment in this specific issue. If they were having trouble convincing their management -not- to release the issue until they fixed the reported bugs, well here's more power to them.

The "Looking for Team" options definitely need a revisit.

More specific, would mean less hostility toward people who ask for what someone isn't looking for.

Consider - LF:

*Anything
*Radio Team
*Story Arc
*Task Force / Trial
*AE
*PvP Zone Team
*Arena

People should be able to choose 2, and maybe go so far as enable a sub-category of "No Blind Invites" and "RP Only".


I feel adding AE is very important because I see so so much hostility and hate-mongering flying through the channels from the Anti-AE's toward anyone who mentions it. The letter's "A" and "E" together instantly instigates an attack of some sort in almost any broadcast channel. For players who like the AE system and want to find teammates for it, AE should be a choosable option.

Also, it's annoying when you're just looking to do some fast clean radio missions and get invited to a team who wants to spend more time in travel than playing, doing the story arcs. Those should be specific options.


If it were more specific, people might use it more.
