Just tried that, it didn't work. I've played this game before it went free. I've never had this problem before.

Body type average
Scrapper Archtype
katana/super reflexes
Helmet Detail 2: Aural shield
Face detail 2: Assassin
Techbot chest, legs and boots.

I did the repair function and when I got into the game, it was still doing it. I'm even seeing different pieces missing on other players. One thing though, when I tilted the camera down at a certain angle, the models reappeared.

I just got CoH freedom completely downloaded and as I was making my character, I noticed at certain points, the character model bugged out. When I was selecting my weapon, the torso went invisible and reappeared on the sword.

When I actually enter the game, the character's torso and legs are invisible entirely until I stealth. When I unstealth, they disappear again. What do I do to fix this?
