Lenny's breath came heavily. He had managed to keep himself out of sight by manipulating the minds of the other combatants in the room, but he was growing tired. With new bodies falling into the fray like so many ragdolls tossed in a blender, the villain knew he could not keep up his ruse much longer.
Slowly, steadily, he began creeping toward the nearest exit, what had been a grand window only minutes previously. The amount of destruction in and around the building was incredible, and if Lenny could figure out a way to come out on top and take the credit for it, his popularity would skyrocket. First, however, he needed to rest.. rest... rest....
As he drew near the window, Lenny collapsed into an unconscious respite from the chaos sorrounding him. -
((I've noticed that most posters are writing in the past tense. As I find that much easier both to read and write, I'm going to follow that trend.))
As Lenny absently gazed below, gloating over the easy victories he had stumbled upon, he was struck unaware by the sheer impact of Shiro's tumbling weight. In a manner not dissimilar to that of the ballroom's late windows, his concetration shattered. Losing all control over his telekinetic manifestations, he fell to the ground like a sack of potatoes that had been absently kicked from the roof of a ten story building.
If the first blow delivered by Shiro had been painful, the second blow, delivered by the floor, was agonizing. Drained of energy and in a great deal of pain, it would have been easy for Lenny to succumb to the greater fighter's onslaught. That would not, however, lead to the outcome he desired for that night. Summoning his last bit of strength, the meanest of all Lennys pelted his opponent's mind with telepathic energy, coercing him as he spoke.
"Careful there, chap. I'm your old friend, Mean Lenny. You don't want to 'urt me." Finding his arm pinned to the ground, Lenny jerked his head toward Rush. "That bloke over there in the red tights said 'e wanted to kill you, said your life was an affront to all 'e stands for. The lass and I were only tryin' to protect you from 'im." -

“Lenny, so glad of you to join me,” said the goddess as Lenny drifted above the carnage towards her. “Now, take care of the ruffian at the door, I sense he is also intending on ruining my slaughter. I swear the next person to crash this party will feel my true wrath.”

This lass thinks she's still in charge, Lenny thinks, someone needs to put 'er in 'er right place, but I suppose I can play along for now. Focusing his attention on Shiro, he looses a blast of energy from his outstretched fists, attempting to knock the heroic newcomer through the last remaining window. "Sorry, 'ero, but you weren't invited," Lenny intones menacingly at the newest target of his rampant agression.
While his recent attacks have left him exhausted, the charismatic rock-star turned super villain does his best to hide that fact, a skill he has developed well during his energetic stage performances. He glances over at the goddess just long enough to make eye contact and give her a wink. "No worries, lass. I'll 'ave this mess straightened out for you in a jiff."
With that, he turns back to survey the scene, noting that... -
The meanest of all Lennys is momentarily too stunned to be mean, or any other adjective for that matter, as the goddess reaches into his mind. Her probe of his psyche reveals much about her, and he likes it all. The flaming wine was a nice touch, too. He has always been a strong advocate of using pyrotechnics on stage, moreso off stage.
Hearing the object, yes object, of his interest request that he do exactly as he had originally intended and put the heroic interloper down is music to his ears. Still, he pauses for a moment to seem deliberate, considerate, unsure. It is during that pause that an armored rifleman who seems intent, much as Lenny and his shiny new adversary, on bashing up the place.
Deciding that the place is going to get bashed up one way or another and that he can always take credit for it later, Lenny decides to focus on his secondary objective and the fulfillment of the Goddess' request. He turns toward the Hero and, seeing that he is currently occupied by the boisterous valkyrie, decides to take advantage of the situation.
Lenny glances back at the gun-toting newcomer, places his hands upon his temples and hurls a torrent of telepathic energy at him, attempting to confuse him into firing upon the Hero. -
((I've never taken part in a forum RP, but here goes...))
Leonard Jenkins, better known to the masses as the abrasive Mean Lenny, soars through the night sky, leaving phosphorescent trails of psionic energy in his wake. As he passes over a parking lot occupied entirely by luxury SUVs, Limos and other such symbols of wealth, a grin spreads across his face like the worlds fastest growing and altogether most nefarious lichen. In fact, the grin isn't at all like a lichen, but it is, indeed, quite nefarious.
Such a gathering of apparently powerful people in the nearby building could provide exactly the kind of trouble Lenny is looking for. Slowing himself to a hover, he takes a survey of the scene and mutters to no one in particular. "Coast on in, bash the place up a bit, make my dashing getaway and wait for the story on the news tomo..."
The would-be villain's rather droll monologue is interrupted by the raucous din of some clumsy chap traveling head first through a large window beneath him. Apparently, this other bloke had been thinking exactly the same thing as Lenny, merely a few precious seconds earlier. "Right, then," he says to himself, "Coast on in, bash up the place a bit, send this grotty [censored] who thinks he can steal my glory to the hospital, make my... Ah, Bugger it!" Losing patience with his own dissertation, Lenny plunges head long through another erstwhile unbroken window with what he hopes is an even louder crash than his perceived competitor's.
He expects to find the room full of old men being bashed about by some errant metahuman in dire need of his own respective beating, but his expectations prove utterly wrong. What he sees in the room, all he sees, is the auburn-haired goddess cackling in sadistic glee. A grin creeps across his face, once again not quite like a lichen but probably more nefarious than any possible combination of fungus and algae. "Hey there, beautiful," he projects with an air of confidence, "why didn't you invite ol' Lenny to this little soiree?" -
My name is Mean Lenny Jenkins, and I am a Roleplayer. There. I said it.
I play on the guardian server, but I haven't had any luck finding other Role Players as of yet. It would be cool if we had a meeting/hang-out spot. If there isn't one people are using yet, we should decide on one.
I have been looking for other RPers on Guardian to possibly start a regular group and meet for scheduled "sessions." Essentially, this would work like a tabletop RPG session, but we wouldn't have to fiddle with all the dice and third person narration with the game as our medium.
If you'd like to get in on such a group or simply hang out and RP, my name is "Mean Lenny" on Guardian.
