Which is almost as confusing. No number crunching is required to read up on or observe in game a mechanic that has operated the same for TO/DO/SO/HO enhancements since the game was launched, and IOs have worked exactly as they do now since they were added as well. The info on how enhancement types work is available in dozens of places in and out of game. Where did number crunching enter into it?

I was thanking nodblast for his time. Its something respectful people do. The comment you find so nonsectarian was simply explaining that people shouldn’t patrol these post attempting to find contributors to pick with or argue with for the sake of strife. I was informing him that his feed back was concise and well spoken instead of mutating my point into some other form like the bugs in the re spec system as a hole just to win some small argument. Its OK if you don’t know anyone like that. Its still meant for them.

And even then, it doesn't matter at what level you slotted them. SO/DO/TO/HO performance is only depended on difference between your actual level and the level of enhancement, not when you slotted them.

IO isn't affected by level difference at all. If level 50 IO gives 42.4% enhancement. It will give you the same 42.4% whether you slotted it at level 47, 48, 49 or 50.

When the goal of a discussion is innovation one must never let there own personal goal become victory because that proves that they them selves have failed.

I did some number crunching and it would appear that you are correct. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

    Here is the relevant part:

Your wiki link is only mostly correct however to get away from the irrelevant aspects of this conversation I will ask you to focus on things in terms of all of our HO s that we have slotted

It doesn't matter whether you slotted lvl50 IO at level 47 or 50. It always gives the same enhancement value.

I’m not referring to the set bonuses. I’m talking about the basic enhancement value. Anything slotted 1,2 or 3 lvls over your current lvl will grant you a enhancement bonuses. Inversely anything slotted 1,2 or 3 lvls below you has a penalty. With training, doul and SO enhancements this bonuses changes. With IO s it stays the way it is slotted at the lvl you slot it.

Check this out on a lvl 47 toon look at what a lvl 50 IO will give you then check the same enhancement on one of your lvl 50s . you will understand then.

You don't lose any "bonus" by respec'ing a L50 using L47's. If I'm not mistakened, the bonuses stay the same. You're not changing your level under any circumstance. Unless you're referring to the "Show More Detailed Info" button showing your information incorrectly.

No you have what I am saying backwards. I am saying all the planning that goes into using lvl 50 IO sets wile you are lvl 47 is lost.
  7. Some of us wait until we are lvl 47 to use lvl 50 IO sets so that even after we lvl up to 50 those sets still grant you a +3 bonus because an IO will grant you the lvl related bonus from the lvl it is slotted at permanently. I'm not talking about a lvl 50 person using lvl 47 enhancements. I’m talking about a player with the forethought to get there lvl 50 IO enhancements slotted wile they where lvl 47. when we are force to re spec you are effectively re slotting all of your IO sets at lvl 50 when before each was effectively a lvl 53 IO. After the re spec they will all be standard lvl 50s
  8. the way we respec needs a fix. atm if you respec you will lose the +3 bonuse from slotting lvl 50s at lvl 47 this needs to be fixed
