problem resolved now, was pointing to american servers rather than EU

I should also point out that I have also tested plugging in an external keyboard into the laptop to try and enter the password with (in case any laptop keys were faulty etc) but this hasn't changed it either.

hope someone can help me...
I installed CoH yesterday (i am new player! ) and it all worked fine.
I then installed it on my laptop so I can play in bed but after installing when trying to log in it says the username or password are incorrect.

I log in on my PC using exactly the same username/password and it is fine. To test I have disabled the firewall on the laptop (same firewall is on PC by the way) and that made no change. I also changed the game account password and once again, I could log in on my PC but not on my laptop.

Can anyone shed any light onto why this is happening? and a possible solution?
