Sir Wolfe had gotten bored waiting for dawn and had taken to swordfighting the undead. His Mystical Ebony armor was keeping them at bay and his sword easily sliced through their flesh.

Coldfire was now twittling his thumbs watching when he heard the sound of an air craft flying. Looking up, he saw a Longbow Chaser rising in the air. Immediately leaping up and flying at top speed toward it, he stopped next to it, knocking on the cockpit.

"Hey! Have you seen any other survivors?" He yelled over the sound of the cockpit, not really caring about the other survivors, but a saver place, "I have some allies that may be able to help or something!"

((Oh, and I have 12 days under my belt on Infinity mode ))

((Alright. This is something that has flooded my mind for a long, LONG time. I'm creating a RP based on the rules of a zombie outbreak. There are very simple rules that must be followed. They are as follows:

1. No superpower can save the infected. Healing can retard it, but there is no cure.

2. Zombie can only be killed by destroying the brain.

3. There is no killing other characters with zombies. I will control the undead, but no matter what, it is up to the poster to decide their character(s) fate.

4. Heroes and villains can work together, alone, or against each other.

5. You can do what you want as long as it isn't too outlandish.

6. There is no leaving Paragon/Isles, no matter what, unless you are removing a character from the RP.

7. You cannot end the story by:
A. Getting outside help, as the world is completely overran
B. Killing every zombie
C. Destroying the world
Please refrain from overpowering your character.

As a note, characters not of the human race, may or may not be immune to the virus.

Example: Stone skinned people can't be bitten.

Armors such as Fire Shield, Ice Armor, or even just body armor can repulse undead, but it is not invulnerable, show this in you posts. Invulnerability can even be surpassed after a while, no matter what, your character should have vulnerabilities.

Zombies follow the following rules:

They have three stages, the first is the Dawn of the Dead running zombie. Second is jerky Resident Evil: Apocolypse zombie. Third is shambling classic Romero zombie.

They are immune to all damage and will keep moving until the brain is destroyed.

Zombies only have automatic powers (examples: Swift, Stone Skin, ect.) if they were once heroes/villains.

Zombies have no higher thinking meaning mind control or mind reading does not work, illusions also do not work.

Dismemberment can stop a zombie, but will not kill it.

Zombies can not use weapons.

Zombies cannot fly, superspeed, teleport, or superjump.

Villain groups are effected as well. Not only are they under attack, but they work with heroes or other villains for survival.

Example: Malta will work with heroes to survive.

Other zombies such as Vahzilok, Pantheon, or MM pets are, of course, uneffected by infection, but other zombies will attack them.

These zombies are not magic based. They are science based and there is not saving the infected.

With all that said, I'll begin our story, and set the tone of all this.))

Almost overnight, it seemed, the undead had overran the world and sent all humanity into chaos and disarray. Heroes fought valiantly, but to no avail, and now, most are dead...ish.

But Heroes weren't the only ones fighting on the homefront. Arachnos had their own problems back at the Rogue Isles, and the normal insanity of the isles has increased.

The world is in ruins and there is no telling how long the last remaining heroes and villains can fight of the undead hordes. This is the story of those last brave souls. The last hope of all humanity.

Coldfire Kaiser watched silently with a grim look on his face at the horizon. The sun was going down, meaning the city was much more dangerous now. Of course, he could make his own light, but that just attracted more of the monsters. His powers had saved him greatly in the past days of the outbreak. His ability to create icey barriers had given him defense at the moment. Himself and his comrades had holed up in a destroyed two story building in Faultline, hoping the crater would make a natural barrier.

This had proven somewhat useful, but now the things were finding their way up the other side. The few roamers they had seen make their way up were easily sniped by Carlos, as he was a master sniper. But Coldfire knew they didn't have much time. Carlos was almost out of ammo, and Coldfire hadn't slept in days trying to keep the ice barriers up.

Exhausted, he sat down on the little lawnchair that had been inside the building, staring contently at the falling sun.

"Who would have thought this would have been the end of us." He said solemnly rubbing his eyes.

"I hope help comes soon..." Becky said walking up to the roof.

"Help isn't coming." Blade said leaning against the wall next to the door, "Help is dead."

Just so you guys know, I'm not going to be able to work on the pic until this weekend. My boss is actually going to be at work and he's real uptight because his superiors are coming to give his assessment.

Okay everyone, I'm sorry for the massive delay. As I'm sure some of you know, I popped a blood vessel in the Comics and Hero/Villain Culture section and 'quit' the forums. Well, before that, I was having some computer problems and those are all cleared up now. I'm sick and forced to stay home so I have time to finish the picture.

Now for the really bad news. The original picture which was almost completed got stredded by my wife, thinking the picture was just trash (she has a tendancy to do this every week, I have to hide my artwork...). So now I have to start over. However, this is a good thing really. I have improved a bit since my last post and I can make the picture much better now.

I know you guys must be disappointed and I feel bad about forgetting this. If it had not been for Pawnn, I never would have remember and that would have been BAD . So to thank Pawnn for his help, I'm going to let him be in the picture as well.

Thank you all for your patience, I'll begin work very soon and I hope I can get the picture up ASAP.

PS: And as a side note, I'm going to do another big group picture for the holidays, but I'm not going to start on it until this one is done. If you want in on it, wait for this picture to be finished and then I'll start up the list of new heroes to be in it.

Appearantly, one of my kids, or maybe even my wife for that matter, spilled soda on my scanner. Now I have to borrow one from my friend to scan the picture. I have it completely inked, but I'm still working on the colors because it's taking longer than I thought. I'll scan the inked version as soon as I can. Sorry about the delay.

I've actually been goofing around a lot. I could have had it done already if I'd wanted...

However, I said I'm just now [u] starting [u] to ink. I've still got to do a few more details in te enviroment and characters before I can even think about inking it all. I can start inking a few characters right now, and I will, but I'm no where near finished really .

To all of you wondering, I am starting to ink the pic. I'm hoping to get it up by sunday afternoon at the latest. Thanks for your patience and for not rioting.

Sorry guys, I didn't get any work done today, was far to much in awe checking out Vet Rewards and whatnot. I'll get back to work tomarrow.

Alright everyone, I have the characters all on the page and it's lookin' mighty cool. I have a couple characters fully drawn and am working on getting the characters drawn before the background. At this rate, I should have it up either by the weekend, or during it. And I'm still amazed at the lack of Thor in this thread...

EDIT: Oh, and Hex, you think you can get me a bright picture of your character, I can't seem to find one of him.

Having a rough time right now trying to get good spreadage of the heroes and yet having them all on the page. Currently, I'm going for a city setting with the heroes all reacting to some unseen threat. Some heroes will be on the ground, some in the air. However, more heroes are on the ground and it's making it a little crowded. I figured I could make a few jumping or hanging on to signs or buildings. If anyone could supply me with a good example of a crowd pic for me to work with, I would be more than greatful.

I'm just surprised that TA never commented.
