  1. And just to re-iterate, I personally have the Max edition code applied to my CoX account and happily have a character wearing the Valkyrie costume and enjoy being able to teleport directly to those really annoying mission 3 zones away from where you currently are.
  2. OK. That makes sense. Basically what you're saying is that pretty much everything important bonus wise is already maxed so there's no point in paying for a "more expensive" set like CI when Touch is available for "cheaper" and also that the difference in basic enhancement bonus between the max level 40 Touch and max level 50 CI is negligable?

Or is it purely from the aspect that 2.5% global Damage (172.5% with TOuch and 170% with CI) and the Damage Proc is better than a 7% boost to global Accuracy (86% with Touch and 93% with CI)? I'm assuming we're completely ignoring the Mez protection bonuses due to Integration.

Just trying to wrap my head around all these Set options. Guess that's what I get for coming back to a level 50 character after taking a couple years off from the game. >Grins<
  3. Out of curiosity, why slot the Touch of Death set into Smite instead of Crushing Impact? The .38% more HP and damage proc doesn't seem that much of a difference to justify loosing the global Accuracy and Recharge bonus from 5 slotting Crushing Impact. It's not like you're putting the 6th slot into Touch of Death to get the Defense sets bonus... What am I missing?

(Recently came back to CoX and all this IO set slotting is new. I hadn't played since just before Issue 7)

Devs do you play on the live server? I want to see statesman's powers!

They do. But not as their "name" characters. They like making random characters and teaming to play with things. So next time you're on a team with a 35+ character who's playing a bit like a PL'd newb but asking questions a newb wouldn't even think of asking, you *might* be playing with a dev.
  5. [quoteWow, that's cool. The few times I've gotten that far on the Synapse TF, Babbage was all over us as we exited the Clockwork Lord mission. It would be hard not to get aggro'd by him.

That's really interesting because the Babbage ambush spawns after the mission *before* the Clockwork King mission...

    2. Don't chase runners. They'll come back. It's way too easy to aggro a second group or do as I did yesterday and run into a trio of lvl 35 Nemesis just hanging out in Steel Canyon while chasing a runner.

An extension. If you have Radiation Infection or Enervating field or something similar on a runner, shut it off as the debuffs will aggro other groups too.
