  1. I just had to add my whole hearted agreement to this thread. As a WoW/EQ/UO refugee, I find CoX is far more friendly to my "adult" lifestyle. In both EQ and WoW I was a hardcore raiderbot. I slaved for hours and hour and hours each week to be prepped for a raid that was mostly explanations of scripted encounters that weren't going to yield any success or reward until we had learned it. Add to that, possibly no reward until LONG after it was on farm status. *mumbles incoherantly about a tier two breastplate and 8 months of farming*

CoX is easy to pick up, put down, play for an hour, play for a day. I can ALWAYS play with my friends and family via sidekicking/mentoring. I don't have to worry about "gearing up" someone so they can raid at my level and have fun. I don't have to slave for hours to be ready for a raid. Teams can be any random 8 folks you toss together and still be fun, no "LFM need healer" for 4 hours. and on and on with all the salient points that have been brought up so far.

The primary addition I have to add, and I am surprised a bigger deal isn't made out of this. When I finish a task force or a major story arc; I GET TO CHOSE MY REWARD AND EVERYONE GETS ONE. The is no relying on the random loot table, no DKP politics , no breeding of the worst possible components of human nature.

I left EQ after 3 years to play WoW. I left WoW after 2 years and 10 months because I was so disgusted with my "second job". Tabula Rasa just wasn't very engaging.

I purchased a years worth of gamecards for CoX as soon as my 30 day trial was up, and so far, it has been the best 2 months I have ever spent in an MMO.
