Well done all for an enjoyable and eventful raid.
It was good to get back and do one of those and we had our moments in there but we come through for a nice raid, in under 2 hours by my reckoning.
Many thanks to Righteous bob and Generalissimo, for running the PA team for us, White Magus, good support in Hami tank team, Hammerfall, well done on first Hami tank role, Dead Calm on stepping up to the plate on short notice as targeter.
Also, many thanks to Mr J for the general assist and encouragement to do this.
I'm sure there are many more who need thanking but its getting late and I'm tired, so a big thankyou to all those others who took part. -
If that Tohit & Defence Debuff is the Cytoskeleton one I will swap for a Damage / Range. if not, may still be interseted, let me in game or email please.
@War Man -
Im up for this Wednesday, either location fine plus I have the Snaptooth mission, but I understand from what I have heard from the US forums, the spawns are lower than the Warburg missions.
-
I need this on Odins Soon so would be interested too please

How about those that are interested gather at the Eden entrance to Hami next Sunday at 8pm (I think tonight is not enough notice) to see how many people are up fo this and if it looks like we have the numbers just go for it?
If there are not enough we can leave it and try again another time. Nothing tried is nothing gained.
It would be interesting to gauge interest especially from those that have not yet done a raid and it is no hardship to log on 5 or 10 minutes to 8pm and head over to the far side of Eden. -
I'd be up for this.
It would be good to do some Hami raids before Issue 8 comes out in case there are issues with stability or performance once it is released, which has usually been the case to some degree after a major release.
There are good guides that people can read if they want before the raid to familarise themselves with the appraoch and the whole community is getting bigger and more experienced and therefore more 45+ toons around.
The actual approach can be summarised in about 4 steps:-
1) The Ilusion teams drop Phantom Army near Hami to take the aggro.
2) Everyone else targets through or at least attacks the same mito as the targetting tank.
3) Everyone the clocks 1 hit (regardless of how small the damage) on Hami to register damage to get a Hami-o if we are successful.
4) The controllers stay and use hold attacks (not immobilise) to bring down Hami. No spam heals at this point and gravity pets only.
The guides flesh out the details and why this approach works etc, but that is basically it.
I was thinking whether there could be 2 raids on consecutive days, like a Sunday and Monday, in case people could not 1 day. I don't know if this would just dilute the attendance below the amount needed to clear the mitos and hold Hami, or whether he will even respawn in time.
Anyway, here's hoping we get a raid on -
Can you add my controller 'War Rock' please, a Earth, kinetics.

I should be good Wednesday, I'm interested in this as Odins Son
-
I'm up for this as I need all still and I was not around the weekend.
-
Grats Hammer, sorry I could not have been there this weekend to see it, would have liked seen that on Tyrant with the coalition if I could have gotten out of being away.
-
Well done Eyeball, 3 down, 9 to go
-
No, you got it wrong - I'm not saying people not holding should remain inside the bubble during the hold phase. I'm saying that everyone should take the 3 seconds it takes to clock a hit on Hami then get out of the bubble so the holders can do that phase.
At the moment, you have people not knowing whether they should go in or out, hit Hami or not.
How do you explain to people that don't hit Hami becasue they are confused and get out of the bubble when people say so only to find that they don't get the Hami-o as they have not clocked up the kill. regardless of the guides etc, there will always be people who either get confused or have not the guide.
Its far easier just to let people clock the kill and get out the bubble instead of all the to-ing and fro-ing. -

Heroes do have access to something similar although i cant remember exactly what they have to do to unlock it. Think it could be shadow shard related but dont quote me on that .

It was me as I was in SG mode with War Rock having switched back to Goonues main SG for the TF.
Hmm the Goonies unlocked a "Rikti plasma turret" recently, would that be it? Btw I have no idea what unlocked the turret apart that it was a SG badge. We got it when we finished a Shard tf.
If anyone wants to know it is a high damage turret thats not salvage item (ie. can always be bought from editor) but it doesnt allow add-ons unlike the salvage-built elite turrets.

It was me as War Rock as I had rejoined the main Goonies SG for the tf and was in SG mode. -
I will be there.
I won't be doing the 'everyone get out of bubble after mitos stage and stand around while there is general confusion about what is going on' stage.
I plan just to start the hold phase while non-holders just clock up 1 hit then move out of the bubble.
There is no chance of getting Hami down to 75% point while this take splace and its unneccessary and confusing to people. -
Thanks for all the help getting this one - much appreciated
-
Well done guys. Glad I could be there for such a well attended event. Special grats to Frosty and Shaggy and their first level 50's too, swelling our Goonies ranks.
-
Thanks for this tonight - was a good run at the badge. Should be around next week, same place same time. Special thanks to our friendly Villains too.
