Speaking of it from a Villain's point of view. I don't do "evil" for the sake of others I'm in it for myself. You being a hero should be doing "good" for the sake of others not your own fame. I think the problem is you're really a bad guy inside and it's time you listened to your inner self and do what you want not what Statesman and others tell you to do. It's survival of the fittest, the strong dominate the weak. You sound like someone who is more than some role model, you risk your life for them and get nothing in return.
