It's possible, but I prefer having stamina. It makes life a lot easier when you're running toggles and teleporting like crazy.
Also, a few points.
1. Energy Transfer usually shines more than Total Focus on most things. It does 1.25 times the base damage of Total Focus, the hp loss is pretty marginal, and importantly, its activation time is EXTREMELY fast compared to TF's sluggish leap smash. One of its best uses is as a very fast and painful follow-up to an AS in pvp for taking out scrappers and other medium hp types. Not to say that total focus sucks - autoqueued after a tp foe, it's one of the best enemystoppers ever, since it has a 100% disorient rate on minions and enemy players without mez protection.
2. I find Conserve Power to be a LOT more useful than Energy Drain. For one, Energy Drain needs quite a few minions around you, and it has a long activation time - do you really want to aggro stuff and stand there getting beaten up while you replenish your bar? In contrast, Conserve Power is a quick click power that essentially gives you near-unlimited endurance for two minutes or so and allows you to speed attack at will. I normally flip it on when I'm at about 20% end and watch as I continue to frag mobs at top speed and my bar goes UP.
3. One bad thing about EAura is that it has no +perception powers, unlike ninjutsu/SR, so it's a pain in stuff like a stalker/stalker duel. On the plus side, we have one of the best mez protection toggles - it actually gives resist to TP Foe, something that most other mez prot powers don't. Which is incredibly useful in PvP.
On the whole, EM/EA are pretty damn good sets. EAura would just be the all-out best stalker secondary if it added a +perception attribute into one of the def/mez powers and swapped out conserve power/EDrain for a self-heal.
Edit: I find the best way to slot all EMelee's attacks is 2 acc 1 rec 3 dam. Anything less than 2 acc and you really start missing like crazy. And that's just in PvE.
