Can we roll back the i5 nerfs and just stick with ED? We didnt need both.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Indeed the I5 changes coupled with ED is overkill
At the verry least the I5 changes should be cut in half.

I'm all for challenge and ED provides plenty of that by itself.

And a L40 minion is NOT the same as a L1 minion. A L40 minion should compare similarly to a L40 hero the same way a L1 hero does to a L1 hero.

I respectfully disagree with you Sir..

Lvl 40 minions should not be similarly difficult as they were to you at level 1 otherwise this is just EQ in tights.

IMHO minions should only pose a real threat to Heros in significan't numbers. There has to be a feeling of power in COH other than bottom feeding. I don't find fighting mobs -2 levels to me Heroic at all.

Conversley Bosses should be more difficult though.. After all they are Bosses.
  3. Vege I honestly think they (cryptic) are trying to strike a balance..

#1 They're trying to reign in the FOTM builds.

#2 It looks as though they're working on making grouping more desirable.

#3 They are looking into fixing AT's that clearly have broken powers.

#4 Statesman also said that soloing for ALL classes will remain an option.

Untill the devs prove me wrong, I believe them.

While I might not agree with the techniques, I do believe Cryptic is commited to making this game fun for all.

    Casual and Powergamer.

Cryptic has also shown they're not afraid to admit being wrong and quickly make adjustments.

    That says allot.
  4. Interesting....

A Developer who doesn't take the suggestions of it's customers into account is being foolish....Period.

Suggestions are not whines..It's a cheap cowardly attempt at generalizing anyone who has a suggestion.

That being said Cryptic should never dump their original vision. After all we bought into it or we wouldn't be here..

SOE's downfall was letting the gulf between the power of casual and powergamers go unchecked. Another Huge downfall was bumping mob HP's to silly levels in lou of fixing AI. As long as Cryptic keeps these two mistakes in mind they'll be fine.

Truthfully it's publishers that make the final decisions on this stuff anyway. If sales/subscriptions start dropping changes will be made.

    Trust me..
  5. The problem is that very early on these boards two labels were established..

#1 if you're at all critical of COH you're whining..

#2 If you like COH and appreciate anything the devs are doing you're a Fan-Boy.

    Both ideas are complete rubish.

Many of us see a bright future for COH but see imbalances that need fixing. Many of us are neither Fan-Boy or whinner we just want the best game possible.

I suggest extremists on both sides learn to be civil.
