It's either when the top shows NO skin, or the skin layer will disappear. It's quite odd.

I would angle the bottom pic a little more so the statue from the top pic isn't showing. Sure, it creates symmetry, but it also makes the focal point the statue more than anything else.

I ran my MITF and MKTF at -1. Worked well for the most part. Allowed us to blaze through the riff raff and concentrate on the tougher parts.
