When looking at this you should think about characters/time periods/worlds. As much I would love to have 7 different modern or futuristic weapons lets not forget the creativeness that goes behind creating a character:
Blunderbuss - For the Pirates/Colonial/Historical characters
Zip Gun - For the Inmates/Sewer People/Barbaric characters
Concealed (cane/umbrella/peppermint stick) - For the Gentleman/Mastermind/Zany Characters
Finger Gun - For the Robot/Mechanical/Abomination Characters
And lets not forget to get creative
Magic Bullets - For the mystical/telekinesis/Dimensional Entity characters
