Thanks for all the replies everyone, its a joy to be here on the boards and in the game. I have since made a few new toons and have been trying all kinds of things.

@The Sarge: I also make a assault rifle/devices toon and his name is SGT. Avery Johnson lol ( Halo tribute ) complete with cigar. But i havent taken him very far.

I favorite toon right now is Blaster- Archery/Energy Manip. He looks like he came straight from LOTR but with a hi tech bow lol. Hes alot of fun to play with a good group. Am going to try new things when GR releases as well. I know i said blaster wasnt my best AT but i think thats cuz i was just trying to solo most the time, but in a team i found its really enjoyable to sit back and just be support and also by doing that i found i survive much longer.

Funny you say that, as i was just looking at the villain side yesterday and was almost gonna make one lol. I may try that as soon as the servers are back up on my end.

Thank you sailboat. I really have not typed to much in the bios or the battle cry boxes but i have typed some zingers for fun lol. I think i may wait and see if i like any of the upcoming GR powersets before i really put alot of thought into my character. But so far the thing that has taken the most time is my costume creation, im a wee tad bit on the picky/perfectionist side lol.

Ok guys..Well i have like 6 toons now and they are all Hero and on Freedom. Still trying different powersets to see what i like best. I tried 2 blaster toons and they just dont fit me, ima get in stand toe-to-toe kind of guy. So scrapper has been my favorite choice so far. I have not tried tanker yet. My newest toon is a ninja lol. Katana/Regen are his powersets and so far im liking this one the best.

Lol..sorry...Hes got Electrical Melee/Electrical Armor. And hes on Freedom.

Well guys i just wanna say so far the game is great and its actually really fun...to be at low level is still quite fun to play i dont feel so underpowered.

Ok..my intro is complete..kinda. But anyway, Im new to CoH/CoV, as of this writing i am downloading the latest patch(s), i ordered online and downloaded the Mac Client. But on to my questions..

1. I am coming from WoW ( very bored with that game ) and was always the tank. In every instance i was the tank...i am freaking sick of being the tank...I am looking to be DPS on this game, with at least my first char. Any tips on what sets to use? Im still very noobish..right now as i havent even played the game yet, but i have Paragon wiki pulled and am reading but i would also like to hear some tips straight from u guys who are active right now..so with that said..thanks for your patience and im a fast learner...
