First off, sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

So my desktop just crashed and my laptop can barely run CoH. I'm looking at getting a new laptop that's around ~$1000. Right now I'm looking at this:

Now I know some stuff about computers, but I have no clue at all about video cards. This has NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M.

So could this run ultra mode? Any suggestions on gaming laptops around this price? And if this isn't the right thread just yell at me and I'll post it in the right place. Thanks.

So, I have played CoH from release up until last year when my computer crashed. I got a new laptop and it cannot run CoH so I just stopped playing. Now, my Dad bought the same computer I did 6 years back. His recently crashed and he said I could have it. I put his hard drive into my computer and it runs again. But, City of Heroes won't. After the updater and the loading bar pops up, it is just the loading hourglass and a black screen. Sometimes it loads (still a black screen) and I can hear the music.

I've had this problem before and it was because the drivers weren't updated, but I just updated the drivers and it still doesn't work. The newest display drivers I could find are from 2006. I'm somewhat computer literate, but I really have no clue what I'm doing now. Any guidance? I've had this problem years ago and fixed it somehow, I just cannot remember how.
