My computer has 225 GB of Ram. Normally, I only have three or four big games (City of X, Team Fortress 2, The Path, Etc.) on my computer at a time. Aside from that, there are about two Gigs of music, and that's it. My personal files are reasonable, my pictures sparse compared to most (I believe maybe 1,000 at the most)...
So why does my computer say I only have 14 Gigs left?
I know so little about computers, but it doesn't seem right that I have no idea why my computer's full. Is there some sort of program that will let me know unused programs on my compy? Additionally, are there ways to know what oversized files I may not have noticed?
Thanks for any help!
(If I do understand computers at all, this near-to-bursting capacity may be influencing the slow running speed of City of X.)

Odds are, your computer came with a bunch of free software which you don't need or want. Manufacturers tend to load these things up with all kinds of stuff: their own portal software, trial versions of office, demo games, etc.
Try going to Start->Settings->Control Panel and choose add/remove programs. That will show you all the software installed on your system and the size of that program. If there are some large programs taking up several gigs (1 GB = 1000 MB) that you're absolutely certain you do not want (like ones that say "never" in the "Last Used On" column), you can uninstall them right there.

I do this very often, and there are less than ten programs on there now that are more than 1 Gig.
I'm trying out these other suggestions, however, and I will report back.
