Sorry to bother you, but I am curious how you came to this conclusion?
On my video cards ATI 8500, and geforce 4mx, and geforce 6800gt The 300' range mark is clearly visable and I can easily see enemy that is 300 feet away.
I am Hoping that you did not misinterpret 300 Feet for 300 yards. (like so many others)
remeber the game main measuring distaces is yards not feet.
300 feet is around 100 yards and is easily visible on mine and my friends comps.
If your computer is not registering 100 yards distance please let me know your settings so that i can test them on my computer.
Unfortunatly with this 'range' issue a great deal of people are not aware of the 300feet vs 300 yards issue. If it were 300 yards then there would not be as much of an issue as this IS subst greater then viewing distances. (900feet)
