Way back in the early days of the MA we were able to select any mob as the target of "Defeat Boss". I wrote a really fun mission centering upon fighting a Thorn boss. The devs fixed the selection list and now my mission makes no sense.

Does anyone know of any way to use a tentacle or thorn as a boss?
