I really hope in a server merge. I really don't realize the reason why they don't do this in Europe. I can understand in US, where there is the possibility to choose for a high population server and a low one (so a player can choose according to his preference), but in Europe every server has low population and consequently there is no choice to experience the MASSIVE component of this MMORPG!
I know there can be some problem with the names, etc ... but hey, in CoH there is already a portion of the technology used in Champions Online to allow multiple identical name (the global chat handle). Maybe they can work a bit on this for the next Issue: I'm not saying they should allow players to choose non-unique names, what I'm saying is that they could use this technology to solve the issue of the identical names in a server merge context.

Maybe this will be the first and the last message I can write, because I don't have an active subscription to the game.

You think the devs don't know that? Maybe buffs will be rebalanced too, who knows .... nothing official as been released yet, except few things, and you can't compare these few things with the current game mechanics

I hope to see these changes as soon as possible. We don't know how this new system works right now, we know only few things and we can't judge them without knowing all the changes. We have to wait until Castle releases the official PvP list to think about it, and even then I'm sure the devs know what they are doing, so if they decide to release this new system with Issue 13, go for it! If they don't, how do you will call this Issue, Issue 13: Responsibility? Also, many, many people I know are waiting for PvP rebalancing, and if the devs will not release these changes for Issue 13, they will leave this game for sure. And I don't want that.
Btw, from what I heard, I like all the changes they are doing, and simply I can't wait for them
