  1. Be nice to see Boomtown get some love..
  2. It seems as though Illusion Man's attempt at bringing his undead friends to his sister's wedding didn't go as planned. One of them couldn't hold their peace.

What St_Angelius said is right Sapphire, the Crab Spider powers can not play correctly unless the crab backpack is on the toon. I may be wrong, but I think for a short time in beta testing of them, the backpack could be removed and you had people that looked like they were.. well.. pooing laser beams.

    So

One is the crab pack appearing on every slot of a dual build toon,
This is working as intended, unless you mean you have a Bane on one spider and a Crab on the other..

the other is that applying the predefined insect armour to a crab spider results in the entire costume changing to plain when accepted.
This I've never seen happen before, and when I just tried to recreate it nothing happened. so.

The third is that only the first costume slot can have the widow or spider pieces (as appropraite).
    This is bug? How?

Over the years (4) I have logged a number of bug reports for different bits of the game and none of them have ever been fixed.
There is a difference between a Bug and a glitch. I've had my character do the Typhoon's Edge Dual Blade power spin through the entire apex of a jump so it looked like he was a helicopter. I've never been able to recreate it, so it was a momentary glitch. So unless we have a 'list' of bugs you've reported, I'm going to have to assume that they were never able to recreate any of your so called bugs.

Right. And then even if they got 100% of every single bug fixed.. the moment they released new content a certain percentage of those bugs would become un-fixed, and there would be an introduction of totally new bugs that they'd never seen before. The game will never be 100% bug free, which is why it's ridiculous to demand that all the bugs be addressed before new content is developed.

I mean, just look at the positive reception the booster packs get. Some people like certain boosters better than others, but in all they seem to do very well. Which is a great revenue stream for Paragon Studios - there's simply *no* reason *not* to take advantage of it.
I know, I was simply stating that one of the major issues with bugs creeping up now is that, if I remember correctly, there have been atleast 30 different people over the past 5 years working to fix bugs with their own special coding or style. So agreed in that bugs will always been here, name a video game that doesn't have bugs? Pong? I think the AI on that game cheats though so that may be a bug..

But the thing I dont understand is that people will argue that a booster pack is
    A) worthless to buy,
or B) not enough in it,
or C) doesn't fit their ideas,
or D) it isn't what should have been released,
or E) doesnt address one issue or another,
or F) Atleast 2 of the above.

The boosters are fun little projects..

forget G) Buying the pack will makes your toon over powered compared to those that dont buy the pack

The boosters are fun little projects to try out for the Dev team, much like Sunstorm making Earth Assault, he did it just to get familiar with the system and how it worked and it actually made it into the game. Which could have been what happened with Ninja Run, Unnamed Gun-ninja Animator played around with Ninja Run, showed it to BABs and BAB's said "Hey thats pretty good" and SexyJ came in on a sexy unicorn with the costumes already designed. (The last part is obviously a lie.. SexyJ has a chariot pulled by 2 Unicorns)

Once Going Rogue launches, I'm sure we'll see alot more content then we have these last couple of issues. I'm not saying we've been light on content, I'm saying that the majority of the attention has been diverted to GR, and we'll start to see more released for all three sides of the coin.. Heros, Praetorians, and Rogues.. cause Dev's hate Villians and Vigilantes cause they wanna be villians..

Since the bugs related to the booster pack are going to be animation/costume related.

So ABC123's original complaint still doesn't hold water.
Another reason why ABC's original complaint can't hold water is something BAB's had said a while ago (*Too lazy to look it up the entire quote*) but anytime one bug is fixed, the code that fixed that bug may very well release one from an older fix.

The example he had given was the AI suddenly using a power it hadn't used in several years.

So basically it boils down to, until the entire entire entire entire entire ent (5 1/2 years worth of entire) system is combed through an uniformed fixed, bugs will always pop up.
