Well yeah :P LOL See, back when I was doing alot of freebies (not comish!) I was still learning, and hell even when I was doing comishes I was still learning (hell I'm STILL LEARNING! LOL) and even when I presented my portfolio to Bob, I said, "Now, I know you'll recognize some of these, because I've taken some pretty well known pieces and attempted them myself".

The only things I claim any originality to, is to the commissions themselves. Anything I did for fun or otherwise, COULD have been (and some of them blatant! I.E. the piece that is not shown, but of Karnal Sin and Death Spider was from the classic Jean Grey/Wolverine piece; or even the Indigo Fury piece, which was a direct clone of a Nightwing piece - when I actually DID those pieces as well as the rest that were referenced, I was very upfront about it) referenced off other material - though I haven't done that since August of 2006 due to my apprenticeship with Bob Layton and my taking the art seriously at that juncture.

But nice backhand and thank you!
