Hey guys was up till 5am, finally crashed, woke up randomly now at 15 till 11am.

I'm so ill right now this freaking sucks. First I got a kidney infection, followed by acute food poisoning (from rice?!), followed by a sinus infection, and now I have a genuine full blown cold.

I guess I can use this opportunity/thread as a hello to everyone hi guys! And the following get hugs: sids, heroid, xanny, rei, flea, haet, bay, bradders and I know I've left people out, but I blame memory issues and my state of health.

P.S. Silly info to laugh at: apparently, I am excessive in my usage of smiley faces in text messages to my friends IRL. A habit taken from these boards. You can take the girl of the game but can't take the retarded out of the girl! Wait I said that wrong....

So! My attention was directed at this debate via two friends who still play (yesterday). Fortunately for your enjoyment or nausea , I have been sick for the last three weeks (seriously, it's been awful) and while I am feeling better, PROBABLY not going to be well for a week yet. I figured 15 bucks was the equivalency of 3 coffees for me from Starbucks, so I felt no shame in reactivating my account, given that I haven't been able to drink my latte in over 2 weeks.

Anyway, ummm LOL and secondly, ROFL. Need I remind you all, that during my last bout on the forums (which was...I think in December of '08 where I had to reactivate my account for one of my producers out here in LaLa land to understand the difference between an RPG and an MMORPG and why someone would PAY to play a game), I remember distinctly making a complaint about the unnecessary Rook-esque (whatever it is) posts/topics. I stated then, that while I don't disapprove of general giddiness and fluff, given that I am oft times sited for being the birth-mother of the element on the Virtue forums, I do not like the excessive new threads on the subject matter.

I kept my fluff to a general minimum in that I 1) had a thread dedicated to art and fluff (my aforementioned ZOMG WHAT?! thread) and 2) I posted fluff in threads where it was expected (Say Something Nice, Person Above Me, etc). The third option of my "fluffing" were made in good intent - I would post "fluff" in threads that were becoming very "flame heavy." Often times, I would invoke Dragonberry's rendition of my online persona "flashing" the forums, in an effort to alleviate the tension in the flame-wars. Sure, many of my posts were taken the wrong way, but my intent was sincere and made with utmost diligence. I don't like conflict.

Anyway, also, unlike the "Rookery" bits, I would actually partake in my dose of actual discussion. Many times I would get into drawn out intellectual discussion on a myriad of topics (in fact, if I remember correctly, it is how Heroid and I actually became friends). I enjoyed the "fluff" aspect of my genuine time on this game/these boards, but generally speaking, I was playing the game, roleplaying, doing art, and contributing the community as a whole.

I respect other peoples' opinions to judge me otherwise, but that is neither here nor there. I'm sick right now...I have a killer cold kicking my ****, so...I'm going to go jump on the game now, to hop around on SuperJump (quite literally the one thing I miss about game play).

And P.S. I'm with the individuals in this thread who are pushing for a "single thread of fluff." Yes, yes, you can ignore them, and the like, but I'm all about self-serving convenience, and while I'm a dedicated employee in my comic book work, this is a freaking game and I want the path of least freaking resistance
