This is a very nice, concise guide, the only comment I would make is the role of Khelds.

To start with, WSs are more trollery than PBs in general.

The powerset choices make a huge difference in their role as well. One PB can be more like a scrapper, while another more like a blaster.

The inherent buffs from team in human form are also important. A human form WS on a team with 6 scrappers or blasters is probably the biggest damage dealer in the hive, while a human form PB on the same team could most likely stand with the tanks on the taunt team (tho his team would end up out of range and then he'd be in trouble.)

And finally, a kheld in nova form is an extra fragile blaster, while a kheld in dwarf form is a weaker tank, complete with taunt.

Theoretically, a kheld is being run by a more experienced player, who should be able to answer the question, "what AT do you play the most like?"

It is a just a few costume parts and a emotes. I agree, I'd be alot happier if it were $5 or less.. But I got it for my main account, and I will probably cave and get it for my 2nd.

As others have said, GREAT post. Very thoughtful.

I am well known on my own server for disliking - no, despising PvP.

The OP hit the nail directly on the head with many of his points. In fact, the next time I am asked why I'm so anti-PvP I may just point the asker to this thread.

The part that rang the most true to me was the inability to avoid griefing. In PvE if someone I'm playing with is causing a problem, I can kick him or quit the team. I can avoid the problem. In PvP if someone is causing a problem.. my ONLY choice is to leave the zone.

This is a fabulous idea, and I would dearly love to participate.

However, it's fast moving out of my league.

Why don't you add some smaller items? T-shirts, bumper-stickers, that sort of thing, get 'em signed by devs. Items that are not likely to cross the 3 digit mark.Maybe get Troy Hickman to autograph the CoH comics he wrote.

Like I said, I'd love to participate... but this is too rich for my blood.
