  1. I thought I would take an oportunity to help some others out with Bloody Bay. I am by no means an expert on PvP or the likes but I have been around the Bloody Bay blocks a few times and thought I would share my experiences. Bloody Bay plays a MAJOR roll in my ability to level from 15 to 25 with some relative ease. And I don't have to spend much time in the zone to gain some strong benefits from it.

So lets start off by looking at the benefits gained but heading to bloody bay. Even if you HATE pvp I still recommend you become fairly familiar with this zone.

    The Stealth Suit:

30 Minutes of usage. About the same -perception as the power Stealth. When combined with travel powers, it can make completing missions like; Defeat Villian and his Minions a breeze. It can also make collecting glowies and such less tedious as well. (Warning, a stealth nerf is on the horizon, and based on Statesman's comments, it will probably include suppressing stealth when clicking on a glowie.)

Ah the wonders of a free power for 10+ levels. This Stealth suit is much like the power Stealth and because of the stealth suit I rarely take stealth with characters anymore until after level 25 and usually only after a nice respec trial. Bloody Bay offers a near unlimited supply of stealth suits so long as you are willing to spend about 10-15 minutes to get said stealth suit.

    (GET TO THE POINT ALREADY!!)
    ... Alright alright..
Head to your nearest Bloody Bay War Zone agent (right inside the zone) and take the "Patrol Bloody Bay" Mission. You need to hit about 8 patrol points but afterwords you acquire your stealth suit. The Stealth Suit may end up playing a major roll in the next part of this guide, the Shivan Shard. If you keep moving and try your best to avoid any seen Villians You usually can complete this mission with little difficulty. I do recommend a full load of insperations (Accuracy and Defense), of which you can purchase from the same contact you got this mission from.

The Shivan Shard: An Elite boss pet that spawns your level up to level 25. 5 Charges and each pet lasts for 5 minutes.

This is the real gem of the zone. I recommend only running this after you have the stealth suit as it will help you avoid many villians from killing you while you are collecting your goo.

So head to the scientist in bloody bay and accept his challenge. You will recieve a temp power to collect your goo with and your NAV bar will show 6 circlets representing the 6 meteors. There is no order in which one must collect the goo but beware of villians killing you as they will get all the goo you have collected (again carry lots of defense inspirations and accuracy if needed.). Once you have collected goo from the 6 different meteors you need to hit one of the many different Firebases to process the goo into a sample. And this is where things get interesting.

At this point it may be good to mention a few things about the firebases. 1st, there are a lot of them so if one is being camped, go to a different one. 2nd, if you have very low damage output, you will be best off teaming with a scrapper or a blaster or a few others that have decent damage output. 3rd, you cannot process the goo until all 8 turrets are destroyed that are associated with the firebase (4 artillery turrets and 4 anti-personel). 4th, the turrets do not heal but will respawn and once you kill one turret a timer seems to start that will cause all destroyed turrets to respawn. So, with this in mind, lets talk strategy.

I recommend using the Firebase that is closest to your sides base and furthest from the opposing sides base. that way if you do get into a scuffle with a villian or hero and win, you have that much more time till they come back. Now When approaching a firebase I like to kick off a few acceracy insperations and do a quick once through the firebase to make sure there are no stalkers waiting to kill ya once you have taken out the turrets.

Now that your base is clean of Villians start at one end of the Artillery turrets and attack it till its almost out of health then move on to the next (DO NOT DESTROY IT). Repeat this process with each one but beware of the agro. Use the walls around the turrets to limit line of site from other turrets so you dont take too much fire from them. When needed, I like to retreat inside the bunker to take a knee. This limits exposure from passerby villians and is much shorter than returning to your base.

Now that all the turrets are down to a minisucal amount of life head back over them and destroy them all as quickly as possible. Then hit the terminal inside the firebase and get your sample. Then head back to the Scientist and WALLA!!! you have yourself 5 Elite boss Shivan pets that last for 5 minutes each.
  2. While I cannot speak for Predator-D, me and him have discussed at length the usefulness of each of the powers in the MM primary. When it comes to burst and slug, While I hate to recommend that you restart, it would be worse for you to invest more time in a power that has little utility in my book.

So my recommendation would be to start a new guy (keep the one you already have) and take slug and see what you think for yourself. In my opinion, slug's higher damage, longer recharge and knockback potential are all good things for a mastermind. Knockback works as minor crowd control. Higher damage makes those that you shoot just that much closer to death that much quicker and the longer recharge actually allows you to spend more time coordinating your minions and less time distracted with fighting. Your purpose is to make your guys as effective as possible so I say take your high damage when you can and spend the rest of your time organizing your minions/pets.
  3. I prefer to use the PowerLevel/Debt removal farming techniques. Get a buddy that is willing to herd for ya. Find a lowbie that has some AOE attacks and would like to do some Powerleveling and go hit up Boomtown. Exemplar down to the level14-15 lowbie, head to the red zone and herd the Lost. The Lowbie will be MOST appreciative of your help in leveling them, your debt will be gone in less time that you really could have imagined and you now owe a boon to the person how was kind enough to herd for you.

For the really high level guys who want to work off debt and want it to be a win win situation for all here is a suggestion: Find an Invulnerable tanker that is somewhere around level 25 that would appreciate earning soem influence and offer them all the influence you acquire while working off debt. Everybody gets something good.
  4. Definitly could benefit from an increased duration. Currently I use it on the one guy who will take the first pop shot to keep him from being mezzed to death. I will then try to use it periodically in battle but not much. I have to agree this power is really not all that great but for the all AR/whatever blaster group I am in on Virtue its the best we got.

    Best I can say is...soon.

LOL.. I think the term soon was already trademarked by CRS and WWIIOnline. You have payed them the proper royalties on that right? ;-)

Actually Soon for CRS ment no sooner than "6 months away" and could be as long as "Will never be implemented." For Cryptic, "Soon" could mean as far away as 6 months but is probably closer to 2 months away. I have faith in these guys to produce a timely product.
