Maybe ... I'll be able to channel some of your awesome skills into my own work. :P

^^ lol, I was thinking the same thing about your work
But, thank you sooooo much for the kind words. I am glad you like it. -
Well, I finally finished the painting that I was doing of my friend's character:
Sir Bronco - Final
Sir Bronco is a level 50 Fire/Fire Blaster on the Liberty server.
The reason the background looks very unfinished is because I am still debating if I am going to paint my Tank that duoed with Sir Bronco from level 1 to 50 and add them together as a duo. But while I decide, it is currently considered done.
Enjoy! -

OK, I am not done yet.
**hangs head in shame**
But I have been working hard to get it finished. I made some stupid mistakes with the inking and so I am having to make some serious corrections as I go, but I think it will be worth it in the end.
So, here is a detail of how far I have got on it:
Sir Bronco - WIP #2
Anyway, thanks for cheking it out.
I may not get it done tomorrow night, but I think that I will get close... and close is good, right? -
it is looking to be a very interesting piece. Can't wait to see it after you have tightened it up a bit and added some more detail.
-
OK, I am back to painting CoH characters after a small deviation.
This is a painting of my friend's Fire/Fire Blaster, Sir Bronco. He is supposed to be hovering and throwing a fireball. It is still pretty early. I have only got the basic pose and the flats laid out so far.
Sir Bronco - WIP
I am hoping to have most of it done, and possibly completed, by tomorrow night. -
Welcome Thally. I think your artwork is awesome.
It is also nice to have a new face here in CoH land. I Hope you enjoy your stay -
OK, I know this isn't exactly CoH related, but I did come by the original stock photo through Scarfgirl's DeviantArt page. They were having a discussion about anatomy and where to find good source material, and someone linked to a couple different locations. Well, curious as I am, and always in the need of good stock photos and reference material, I decided to explore some of the sites. Anyway, I found this really neat photo that I just had to paint to see if I could do it.
So here it is: Girl with Red Hair
Anyway, I feel that this is a pretty good example of how my digital painting skills are improving. If you look at the Absinthium painting I did for Graver and compare it to this I think you will see a huge leap.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by to have a look. In the mean time I am working on a painting for my friend. I am working on painting his very first character and his very first level 50. His name is Sir Bronco (yeah, he is a HUGE Bronco's fan) and he is a Fire/Fire/Fire Blaster. I should have a WIP for Sir Bronco either tomorrow or Wednesday.
Enjoy!! -
Happy Birthday!!!!!
May your day be filled with fun and enjoyment... man, I sound like a Hallmark cardBut, I hope you have a good day regardless of if you have work or some other distraction.

Thanks! I am glad you liked it.
Right now I am just trying to get better (this is only my second full Digital painting). Using a Wacom Tablet isn't as easy as it looks, I have found out.
I want to be able to take comissions in the future, but I don't feel that I am at that point yet...
My next piece is going to be of one of my good friend's characters. So stay tuned -
Thanks everyone.
I have finally finished the painting. Please go check it out here: All Hollows Eve Final -
That piece by Thally is awesome! They are all very nice, but I really like her style. Thanks for sharing these with us.

I have been working on a new digital painting. This time it is of one of my characters, All Hollows Eve . He is a level 50 Spines/Invulnerability Scrapper.
This is currently a WIP, but here is what I have done so far: Painting of All Hollows Eve -

Thank you. I am glad you like it. -
Here it is, the finished painting!
Absinthium Final
This is my first completed CoH piece. Woo Hoo, and I am happy with the final to boot! Just don't go too hard on me because I suck at hands and backgrounds.
Anyway, Graver, I hope you like it. Happy Birthday! -
Thanks!
I am hoping to have it finished sometime this weekend. That would mean it will be done just in time for graver's B-day.
I just wish I had more time in the day to work on stuff like this... I was up till one in the morning last night working on it -
Those are some nice sketches. Keep up the great work!
-
OK, so I am not done yet, but this is to show that I am hard at work on it.
Enjoy the teaser!
Absinthium -
Mine is in my sig.
I am not yet included at City of Artists, but I will get added sooner-or-later... -
So, I really enjoy having a Wacom tablet, but I was struggling with getting the most out of it. So, I have been hunting up as many tutorials that I could find on how other artists use them with PhotoShop. I was particularly interested in how they set up their preferences and brush settings.
Well, after reading a few and getting some very good information I decided to do a quick sketch and put some of the things that I learned into practice. I will be honest, the finished sketch isn't all that great overall, but I am very please with some of the results. This is more-or-less a sort of breakthrough for me because this now gives me a more solid foundation unpon which I can build my digital paintings.
So, without further flapping of the gums (or fingers, in this case), here is my sketch:
Generic Hero "Sketch0003"
Don't be too hard on me, remember that is just a practice piece and not of any specific character.
