It does work, havent had any problems with it since I built it. I just ran it against a validator and it validates properly. Its written against the RSS 2.0 spec, Actually this isnt the place to be troubleshooting the problem.

I've been working on a subscription mechanism for RPGFanFiction. I wanted to allow peeps to subscribe to a story arc without having to be a participant of the arc. We all do it, lurk in the threads on the boards, and read the posts like it was a novel... well I think I have something that will really set RPGFanFiction apart. I'm working on an RSS feed for all the content. I have the base Arc List available currently as an RSS feed, and am working to get the individual arcs to render properly as an RSS feed.

In case your wondering "Why RSS?". I found myself wondering why I couldn't get my OpenRP content dropped to my iPod, or iPAQ. Then I thought about it some more and decided that it was really the perfect syndicated content. So I started to build out an RSS feed for it. So now i just sync my iPod and get to read the RSS feed for my open RP content on the go...

Thats all I have so far, but look for more in the next few days. I should be able to deliver each story arc individually as an RSS feed.

Here are some more new features:

I've built out a personal message system. Its tied to the thread so as you are browing a story arc, you can select the posters profile link in the bottom right corner then personal message that character directly.

I've also re-worked the profanity filter so if you get offended by a word just email us about it and we can add it to the profanity filter.

Here are the latest updates:

Borel who built the "CoH Trading Card" app (http://coh.dynalias.com/ver2/index.php) has agreed to allow us to link to him. I have reworked the character profile to accomodate his trading cards. However, I still need to fix the delete character profile and the create link functions.

New OOC system has been built. OOC will be added or edited at the same time you create your post. A mouseoverable icon will appear at the top right of a post that has OOC content to display. Simply mouseover the icon to view the OOC Content.

The last Update on the arc listing is now getting updated properly

I play Deus Ex Machina on Virtue. My previous guild had started several Open RP sessions via the message boards. I became a big fan of reading the content then of writing some myself. As a result of being a boards moderator I found that although boards are great for that mechanism I felt complelled to start developing a site designed specifically for an Open RP session.

I still have much work to do both, programatically and graphically, but I invite you all to help me test it out. I look forward to your constructive criticisms, and even some graphics help if you'ld like to contribute.
