Clarification - Monsters in TF's do not count towards the badges for those monsters (Adamastor or Jurrassic for ex). It has been this way for some time.
Also - after much pushing and shoving - we were told that there will NOT be data mining for TF badges. So if you did a TF before I5 - when I5 goes live you will not get a badge for it auto-magically.
I know - it stinks - I'm sorry about that.
**edited to read correctly - note on top of all that - Babbage that is in the TF will give you the badge - IF your group does the most damage to it - if someone helps you defeat Babbage - you may not get it if your team does not do the majority of the damage**

The monster badge awards seem to have changed over the course of the past little while. I actually was part of a team that defeated Jurassik in Creys Folly, did not get the badge, petitioned and was told that he did NOT count towards the badge. I had to do the Numina Task Force according to the email I received from Tech support earlier this year.
Also this not decision to NOT datamine for Task forces is not one I am pleased with. Figure 2-4 hours for Moonfire, 4-8 hours each for the second and fourth Shadow Shard TF's, that is a lot of time to invest and NOT get a reward for it. -
As I have seen posted elswhere in this thread, i agree that the molepoint approach was a cooler idea than just the teleporters. Also, the navigation assists a very good idea. However, there is still very little incentive for me to take my lvl50's to the Shadow Shard. After doing several of the Task Forces, there is nothing new to experience other than scenery. There are no story arcs, other than the TF's. Nothing but the repetitive Kora fruit or the interminable rescue soldiers missions. Please add story arcs.
Also, regarding the fog of war, as it stands, the only way to clear such a large set of zones is effectively to fly across it numerous times, which can be tedious at best. Please widen the amount of map that is displayed on any pass through the various zones.
