The town is touristy, and only lately is getting some tourist buzz due to the anniversary of being the end of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. If anyone was *from* there though they might mistake it for an Evil Dead movie...

Although I'm not FROM Astoria, having grown up in a town near there... I have to agree that Astoria is indeed inhabited by the walking dead
How is that everybody remembers the Goonies and Kindergarden Cop being filmed there, but not the classic

Still though, I'm guessing Dark Astoria is an East Coast reference to to Astoria, NY.
