  1. Wow. I actually like the idea of every non-natural (and, as the Outcasts showed, mutant) hero in the city getting hit by Ned the Nerfbat. Quite honestly, in a superhero comic, I simply don't see the point of a story if whenever one gets defeated, one can simply Medicom out and rush back in--especially considering that they don't even have to worry about XP debt in the comics. Now States and Ms. Liberty and BAB and Blue Steel (Shield? Not sure) and Positron and Valkyrie and Synapse and Mynx and Sis Psyche and Aurora and Luminary and Manticore (you get the point) are all MORTAL. They're not gods, they can be defeated permanently. (Relatively speaking. *coughPhoenixcoughSupermancough*) The only way they could pull that off before was with Medicom disruptors like the Column/Council has, and let's face it, not every Hellion and Skull in Paragon is gonna be able to afford one of those. (Though they can afford anti-Kheldian weaponry, so...)

    My only questions are:
    1. How are they going to wrap up the current comic? I mean, is War Witch gonna be permanently stuck in limbo staring at a Kheldified Requiem about to kill her?
    2. Wouldn't an instant power cutoff be devastating to Peacebringers and Warshades? I mean, come on, you're having half your life force simply shut off...
  2. Go here. According to this, "Tsoo" is Hmong for "beat", "break", or "smash". And you pronounce it (oh, THIS will drive you all insane)...

    Joong.

For the record, that's a "J" sound followed by a weird Hmong vowel that's somewhere between the pronunciation of "o" in "jot" and that in "noon". Oh, yeah, and that weird vowel is always followed by an "ng" sound when it's at the end of the word.
Despite the fact that I'll probably pop the tendons holding my tongue in place, I will pronounce it that way for the rest of my life out of respect for the Hmong people.
    Peace out.
