So after playing the game for nearly 2 1/2 years and paying over £200 I feel like I have been brushed aside and completely ignored or maybe I'm just being impatient, you can decide for yourselves after reading this.
A few months back there was a problem with my card and a charge-back of payment was placed on my account, now I had received an email about this but I had not been checking my emails, completely my fault, as this lead to my account being banned, this would not have been the case if I had just checked my emails in time. Subsequently my account was banned and I have been unable to play COH/V since.
But since then I have been trying to get my account reopened I emailed plaync at the time asking them what I could do to fix this and have my old account back and had a prompt reply stating
"In order to repay your chargeback of the transaction regarding your subscription for 11th of August 2008 we would like you to transfer the following amount:
Subscription for City of Heroes 11/08/2008 £23.99
Charge back + admin fee £12.00
Total £35.99
To the following bank account:......." This was in December
I could not do this ASAP but was informed I could make the payment at anytime. With it now being February and me having the funds available to sort this I asked plaync again and again I got a prompt reply stating the above, I just wanted to be 100% that my account would still be reopened and there was no problems as it is now February. Subsequently I went into a local bank and transferred the funds to their bank account and I paid cash, that was done on the 13th February. Now here's the problem I contacted plaync as to what I was doing and received this from them,
"Once you have transferred the requested amount to us, it will be several working days before we receive the payment and are able to reopen your account. As soon as we do receive the payment, we will contact you again to let you know. In the meantime, we thank you for your patience."
It is now the 24th February, I have asked plaync if there is any progress on this matter only to receive the above statement! It was like they copied and pasted their response and now their just not replying to me at all!!! I have paid the £35 and they can't even tell me if they've received it the only form of proof that I had made a payment is a receipt I received from the cashier at the bank. SURELY it has now been several working days and seeing as I paid cash at the bank they should have received the money owed and now after no response from them am I being too impatient? or do I have a right to be annoyed? I know I'm just very frustrated at the moment, is this how they treat a long time customer!
