A New year.

Loc: Space, orbit of Earth.
time: 23:56 gmt time

Far above the Earth in the darkness of space in the mists of the rubbish that flosts around randomly there a dark shadow falls across the area blocking the sun rays that once spread across the rubbish. Slowly a flicker of red green and orange lights come across has a large mass comes into view, a new contrustion it appears to be, the rubbish harmlessly bonuces off the hull of the massive structure.

Slowly the whole thing seems to twist showing a large symbol printed on it's hull, reading simply: Reliance one along with the logo of Obraintech Industries, just above it. It is the Spacestation the founder of Obraintech had spoke off for months, The Reliance.
It's lager dome like top seem to have a large pointed body part head down from it, the body part itself seem to be made from ring like module parts which formed a cross shape when seen from below with at the very end of it having three antennas with blinking red lights on their ends.

Slowly the whole thing drifted sliencely there as the lights inside came on.

Reliance one: inside, main control room.

Behind the moniters and keyboards came a voice.
"Sean, Sir we are ready to go.. Cores are uping online now." The male voice said as a head poked around the screen once blocking it, the face was of a bald youngman clean shaven and his dark blond hair cut soo short it was hardly noticable against his skin.
"Good Wood, looks like we're on time for the power up." Sean spoke walking over to the screens and standing behind Wood, who himself was sitting at the control desk finger on it's center keyboard the screens filled with the process bars of eight EXG cores powering up.
"Levels are going steady, good thing they are space cooled huh?" Wood said looking up and back at Sean.
"Yea.. should keep them stable more and allow us to only use part power from all of them to save on them blowing." Sean said with a smile before looking up at the room door which had slid open.

"Yo guys better not forget about the fact.. all the hard work we all from the company put in to this one project over these years, everything was leading upto this moment, don't blow it." Gemme said standing in the door way, her left hand on her hip and the other in a sling cross her chest, her lab coat covering it up mostly.
"I know Gem.. and you should still be in bed you know." Sean said walking towards her reaching into his right pocket of his black trousers, his white shirt sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
"Like thats the place I've been for weeks, and anyway.. its only my arm.. my legs and head are fine." Gemme smiled walking into the room and stopping after a few meters to the left side of a another control console unit. "And we all know I wouldn't miss this of the world."
"But.. nevermind.. and yeah I know it's a long term project and conmittment, it's also one way to give something to the world aswell." Sean said walking past Gemme and brushing her side with his arm as he did.
Taking a seat at the Control Console there he patted the seat next to him, "Come on Gem, take a seat and watch history be made."

With those words a count down started, the time had come the cores were ready and it was secounds to midnight, time had come for a new year to start and an old one to end. As the countdown reached Zero everything in the room lit up and on the wall mounted monitor the Obraintech Industries Logo came up then began to spin about as a small bar under it filled up.
Once it did a face appeared on the screen, the background filled with the sever towers and mainframe blocks and blinking lights. the face belonged to a woman, one of Sean's team, she spoke quickly "Sir, uplink station one here, we got you tracking in a stable orbit in geo sink with O'braintech England HQ, Uplink dish is ready to begin transmission of data and other stations a ready to monitor you move to the Paragon city Geo sink Orbit."
"Copy that Linda, begin at once and get the others transmitting their parts we got enough spare to have it all at once." Sean Said putting his arm slowly around Gemme's waist.
"Of course, stand by.. Transmission started." Linda Said before the picture cut of and eight process bars replaced it, each with there own name of where and what station it was sending the data.
"Sean .. I do believe we have done it, Reliance one is online and reveicing data packs, hold obrit for a few more moments then moving to next co ords for Paragon City." Wood said sliding back in his chair and tapping away on the keyboard.
"See, Easy.. what did I tell you." Sean said looking at Gem with a smile.
"Well it's operational.. which is good.. but don't go too big headed you." Gem smirked before giving Sean a quick kiss on his cheek.

All round them the Station came online, the lights flicked on and the buzz echoed down the empty corridors and rooms. Soon the station would be filled with people and equipment, all but four floors which were reserved for something more.
Below, the night sky of Earth filled with fireworks flashes and clouds, and the glint of sunlight edging it's way over the side, a New day and era of the world had began.

((This was ment to be posted at the End of the Persent Plotline post: For Better or Worst, but I instead posted it as it's own story and the next part of their lives.
This Also means that a new RPSG has been opened up "The Alliance" which is based onboard of the The Reliance one Space station, more infromation about that will come in the next few days. ))

The sniper round from Molly's gun trail faded away, the bullets route was clear to see. It had stuck it's mark and hit Assasions shoulder dead center, again he yelled but this time was more pain than anger and his blaster arm fell limp.
The hole clear to see in it had gone right through the shoulder, showing that it was more tech than flesh. The odd sparks came from it has it began to bleed with the pale mix of blood and rust colour oil. Assasion glared at Molly for a moment though the pain the wound was causing him, snaring he spoke "You girl shall pay for harming me.." with those words coming from his lips he lifted up his other hand the sleeve of his jacket seem to roll up by it's self to show a metal panel on his arm which opened up and deployed a tiny rocket.
The rocket had a clear body part which was filled with a green gas, he held his arm up to aim it at Molly before grinning "..this will end your misable life and rid me of you in the same momment." His words rang out has Coms bot glanced away from battling with MasterMode, only to call out the words "Miss Molly that is the acid metal gas mix from the Freakshow attack."

Sean quickly deployed his wirst blades and powered them up, making each one glow blue from the center bar in them ((build up and shortly claws ranged attack which I forget the name for)).

Reds bullets seem to hit their marks mostly hitting MasterMode and the disabled Cyber-Widow.

MasterMode stumbled with each hit before Coms bot landed a full force smack to it's chest plate sending it backwards and bonucing off it's "father's" sheild.
Which in turn made Assasion stumble back a little due to the impact on the sheild. Regainning his balance and glaring back at those attacking his family he raised up his metal hand and let of a force blot like that the bots use towards Coms bot, then at Molly, Sean, and and Rik while yelling "You idiots leave them alone!"

Sean jumped out of the way of the bolt before reaching into his belt compartment and the back and pulling out a small disc from it.
"Hey Assie.. allow me to show you a brand new piece of tech I got.." Sean shouted before throwing the disc at the sheild around Assasion.
The disc seem to attach onto the sheild at least appear to, before it glowed brightly and sent out a pulse of charged energy into the sheild.
"..It's a Sheild breaker.. hope you like it." Sean called ducking another incoming bolt.
With that the Sheild around Assasion seem to flicker before the disc fell to the ground, while the sheild broke down and disappeared.
"AARRGGHH!!" Assasion called out has he sent off another barrage of force bolt blasts.

While that happend Cyber-widow became a punching bag as Rik's blows landed on their target, before finally she became movtionless and appeared to be dead.

With the waves of white energy heading for Cyber-widow she quickly tried to dodge the imcoming pulses but couldn't miss them all which knocked her down from the ceiling leaving her danging by her left leg blade which was still sticking into ceiling.

Coms bot glanced over his shoulder quickly to notice Sean glancing towards Red then to the cells holding Gemme and Tim, before getting a smack to it's chest from the cloak MasterMode.
"That.. would of hurt if I had the sense of feeling." Coms bot said composing itself again.
Glancing about looking for MasterMode, it's eyes switched to an infrared vision mode to scan the area of the room before fixing his veiw on the cloaked form of his target.
"Hey.. I see you.." Coms bot said running and landing a punch onto MasterMode which made it's cloak flicker for a few moments. "Now let us see what you think about having this bot body smack you for a change."


((Ok after this short break we have had it's time to finish this thing so please last big battle and you can post up the responses and actions of MasterMode/Assasion/Cyber-widow if you want to.))

Assasion looked down as he spoke "Party time.. hardly this will be a blo-" But he was cut off by the tripmine explosing, yet again another set of yells of pain came from the far side of the room behind the heroes.
As they did Cyber widow depolyed her blades on both her feet and her fingers before leaping onto the ceiling and stareing down just behind the force field.
MasterMode took up a battle stance before he seem to start to disappear back into a cloak, his fists glowing fading away as they merged into the cloak.

Assasion stumbled back a little before growling "Right.. my family.. Kill them all!" as he did the force field seem to flux and fold around him forming around him only and allowing the other two into the space where the heroes where.

"Guys brace your sel-" Sean shouted but was cut off before he could finish by Coms bots jumping infront of him holding up a bit of the floor panel to block a blow from the cloaked MasterMode, who came visable for only a few secounds while the recoil from the hit rippled back into him.
"Sean I suggest moving and allowing me to deal with that new type bot, I can see where he is." Coms bot said lowering the floor panel just enough to peer over the up of it to scan the room.

Cyber-Widow crawled over the ceiling like a spider before slashing down at those below her with her claw like finger nails.

Assasion took a few steps forwards from his throne and opening his arms spoke.
"Now you bunch of misfit idiotic halfwitted so called heroes of Paragon City, there is two I want you to met before they rip you into bits." Assasion grinned evily before turning every so slightly to his left, "Allow the first to be my wife, Cyber-Widow."

As he spoke down from the ceiling dropped Cyber-Widow, her body covered with a black and red suit much like that of Seans however it appeared to be directly fused into her skin and parts were missing show her grey flesh of her normal skin. Her face looked very much like Gemme's apart from the cybernic implant on the left side, replacing her eye with that of one like the bots and three wires coming from the metal plate and heading into her hair. Her red dark red hair seem to be twisted and parts seemed to be made from wires, the same colour as her hair colour.
As she stood up fully and walked to be by Assasion's side it was clear her shoes protected out blades bene sliding back in as did her fingers as she flexed them infront of her face, grinning down at them.

"Ah my Dear.. as wonderful as always, now for the other.. our son.. MasterMode.." Assasion said proudly throwing his right arm out to point to a his throne side.

There from behind it from a blurred semi cloaked form came MasterMode, a tall muscale man in what appeared to be his early 20's wearing a armour padded suit which was grey and dark red in colour much like the colours of the Elite guard bots, his hair covered by a helmet and the rest of his face in plain sight.
He seemed to be human with his skin the pale pink like any person however as he grinned it was clear he was far from human, his teeth were metal and his crimson red eyes flashed as he walked upto Assasion's right side. His fists glowed for a moment as energy plused into him and his gloves hissed.

"Now.. allow us to show what we do to tresspassers in my lab." Assasion demanded as he walked down the few steps from his throne leading Cyber-Widow and MasterMode upto the froce field.

Sean glanced about still a little dazed from the sudden tranport that they had went through, when his eyes saw both Gemme and Tim, his body language changed completely has he heard Assasions voice below out.
"You Son of a.." Sean blunted out before seeing the message from Red scroll onto his visor.

Has Riks attack neared the sitting Assasion it seem to just stop dead against a force field that seem to be blocking off that part of the room.
"Did you really think I would not be perpared for such a thing you idiotic hero?" Assasion growled has he got up and pointed behind the group.
Suddenly a yelp of pain could be heard as Gemme and Tim seem to recoil from something, leaving Assasion to laugh then grin stareing down at the heroes.

Comsbot stepped up and looked at the force field for a moment "Sean, it's connected into a matrix tranpoder system linked directly into the ships power systems as well as Miss Gemme and Timothy."

((due to lack of posts and the fact I really want this over shortly.. heres a small helping hand for everyone.))

Sean's group

Sean blinked in his visor then glanced around the hanging screens to just see the last effects of the flashes. As he did a low whirling noise sounded as the whole place seem to shift again.
"Wow.. ok.. whats going on now then?" Sean muttered stepping away from the control console and looking towards the rest of the group in the room, then to Next Dimension as he entered to room. "Oh good your up and about."

Suddenly the lights in the room flickered and changed to red as a siren went off ehcoing around the room for a few moments before shutting off.
"Erm.. thats not good.. " Sean muttered as a droning whirl filled the room, "Guys, move i-"

Seans voice was cut off has he was eneveloped by the same flash of light the pods had been sent away in, as was everyone else in the room.

Molly's Group

Coms looked about suddenly as the room seem to shift for a moment, "I do believe we are moving upwards again.. and from what I can tell quite fast." Coms bot said before looking towards Molly and Catz.

The lights above the lift doors showed the lift was almost there, only a floor two floors up from them, but before they had chance to move a whirling hum echoed from around them as a bright flash filled the room.

Bots rushed into the lift area only to be met by the lift doors opening and the dieing whirling of the flashes, The three who were there were nowhere to be seen.

((Thats right, It's a transport system of sorts, it's unresistanable so EVERYONE would be transported to the location which is said.))

Assasion's Lab room.

The room with the three empty pods from before suddenly filled with the bright flashes of the Transport folder system, leaving those transported standing the a line infront of the three pods facing towards them, and able to see in the back area Gemme laying on the lab bed with the machine which had Timothy wired into it just the other side of it.
Both Gemme and Timothy were out cold, and could clearly be seen to be quite hurt and bloody.

"Welcome to my private lab Foolish Heroes of Paragon.. and friends of Sean O'Brain.. Trust us you are most unwelcome guests here." Assasion's Voice sounded before behind them as a light switched on as him sitting on a large metal throne rose up from the floor and stopped giving off a small hiss of compressed air.

Sean's Group

Sean paused for a moment staring down at the control panel them to the hanging down screens, hovering his hands over them ready to start randomly pressing buttons if he had to to figure out how it work.
"Right.. if it's is a transporter then.. thats the co ords inputs.. thats the power on and off.. and thats the slider for the port.. so whats the dial?" Sean muttered looking around him.

Suddenly there was a low hum before the whole place seem to shift downwards a few feet then the feeling of that in a lift as it speeds upwards happend, Sean grabbed the control console tighly.

"Guys.. what the hell.. we moving again?" Sean blunted out as he quickly tapped on the keyboard.
Before anyone could answer Sean quickly muttered into the mic " right.. forget I asked.. if we are moving then just need to set this thing to port downwards to ground level and hey pessto the pods would be outer here.

With that said he quickly made the adjustments he could and slid the slider up to fully then down again. The pods suddenly were eneveloped in a flashes of light then were gone, all but the seven cracked dead ones that was.

((The shift and pressure change would of effected the whole fortress, and the flash would be for those in the room quite bright.))

Molly's Group

Coms bot looked at the lift then the corridors.
"I too would suggest the lift, it goes up to the command deck area if I remember the floor plan correctly." Coms bot said before walking upto the lift doors and pressing the -up- button.

Sean's Group

Sean looked over at Red then around the room, spotting the control console on the far side. Quickly making his way over to it while calling out "First job is getting these people out.. then we move to Assasion ok?"

With that said he stopped and looked about, his visor screen seem to flash between the modes and scroll up with data.
"Red.. you got a sixth sense or something?" Sean chuckled as he came to the Control Console.
There infront of him was the console with the three screens which hang down from the ceiling and keyboards for each on the console itself, with one part with had a dail and three slider bars. The screens seem to be showing up the rooms, and the rows of pods, mostly blue or green with the seven red ones which showed they were not working anymore.
"Right this looks like the controls for the pods.. so whats this thing... a teleporter control.. of some kind it looks like." Sean muttered into the mic.

Molly's Group

Ahead was the lift area, appox 6ft by 9 ft room with the Lift doors and the buttons infront of them, to the left was one other corridor and the right had two corridors, as well as a door.

Molly's Group

Coms bot nodded to Molly before sprinting towards the area of the lift down the corridor, running up behind Molly as she flew along.
"Should I give miss Ashlee a hand? Her armour form does seem quite slow." Coms bot said looking breifly over it's left shoulder.

Sean's Group

AS the group moved between the pod rows there were those which were fully on, the light from them showing only the outline and dark figure of that person inside it, so were cracked and the light seem to be only a flicker.
The darker flickering lighted pods, seven in number, were covered in a thick layer of dew which once sean wiped off the one he was at made him jump back a little.
"Holy [censored].. ok that was.. eww.." Sean muttered looking away from pod.

Inside the person was dead, and was already showing the signs that they had been dead for a time.

At the far end of the room beyond the last row of pods was a control station, lit by a light from above it, it lay the same way the XYY-004 head had rolled to before being crushed by Mr Lumps.

Molly's Group

Coms Bot followed on around the corner and then the next as they made their way to the lift area which lay only a few more corridors ahead, in the distance the ehcos of more metal feet could be heard coming from the other ways to the lift area.

For me, there is only one maybe three characters that would know or know of Inf. Mostly from the RP post of mine which of course would mean they would attempt to help out in their own way once they could.

Would need it to begin and such for me to say for sure which and who, so I'll see how it goes.

Sean's Group

Sean turn and started to walk away from the now dead bot, looking at the rows of pods for a moment.
"So this is where they all are.. right spread out and see if theres a way to either get them out, or at least send them out of this place people." Sean said still looking at the pods, his voice seem to be much more angery than before the fighting.

Molly's Group

Coms bot nodded quickly before holding up it's hand to the panel. Suddenly a small amount of sparks arched betwen it's fingers and the panel before the panel came to life, it's display showing the lay out of the floor they were on.
The floor plan seem to show that the door they were heading to was a lift, and the room and corridors leading away from the area infront of the lift were storage and research labs. They seem to shown by three red dots on the screen, with more blue dots heading towards the lift area.
"I suggest we move towards that lift, before whatever those dots are get there." Coms bot said taking it's hand off the panel.


Sean's Group

XYY-004 relaxed a little as it found the heroes had easyed up their attack and lowered it's arms a little to see why, only to be met by Sean's Blade tip heading towards it's eyes.
With that the blade went in, straight between it's eyes letting off a horrible noise as it did along with the sparks from the metal on metal.
"We don't have time to play." Was all Sean said as he pulled the blade back out again and the bot fell backwards lifeless onto the metal lab floor.

Ok I know it's the first one from me and the post is "old" now but hey who cares.

Scene: Richard in the middle of the GG girls, when Gemme Gray's walks up and gets her first inpression of him.

Simon shruggled with a one of the killer bears, trying in vain to fight it off, getting his jacket arms, chest and his bandana ripped in the process before he manage to throw it off him and grab out from over his shoulder his silver warhammer and slammed the bear into the floor mid jump to him.

Meanwhile..

Assasion's floor lift touched down in a darken room into a it's holder slot. As it did a control console raised up from the floor next to it, and the lights in front on him flickered on.

There in the lights was waht appeared to be three pods sticking out from the wall. The center one was empty while the left and right had the forms of people in them.
"Ah they are ready." Assasion muttered as he smirked pressing some buttons on the console, which set off the pods hissing and conpressed smoke bursting out from them as the doors slid open upwards and the wires contected to those inside unclipped off them one by one.
"Come we have work to do, before we leave this place." Assasion said walking off into the darkness away from the pods, with the other two following him.

The lights behind them came on showing the room was large and in the farside was the machine holding Timothy, and Gemme cell next to it.

Simon looked up suddenly, turning his head from one side to the other before rasing up his right hand, with one finger sticking up ((no not swearing..)) before looking over to one of the shelves near to him which had a set of teddy bears on it.
Frowning a little he slowly made his way to it, then stopped peering closely at one bear then the next Before noting down something on his pad and waving at the others.

Molly's Group

Coms bot followed Molly down the corridor, as carefully and as quiet as it's metal feet would allow it too. Stopping just behind Molly and saying " Miss Molly it appears to be deactive, maybe a small power transfer would get it active again?"

Sean's Group

XYY-004 eyes seem to stop moving for a moment as the edges of them seem to form the look of also glasses.
"Rules? For humanoids enchaned like you there is only one." The bot said as from the impact of the rik's attack knocked it backwards, before the shell struck it's knee joint sending the bot down onto one knee.
"Resistance is.. unexpected, However this area is my infirmary and.. the expirments here are.. complete." XYY-004 said looking up at them, bracing its arms infront of it's face, it's lab coat arms seem to be stained with the red of blood.

Molly's Group

The the small device working way, the doors lock shifted a few times before unlocking completely. Blond the door was corridor, much like the one that they had been in before coming across Coms, however this one seem to dart off to the right at the end and on the right hand wall about two foot from the corner was a control access point screen, the display blank.

Simon made his way to the center display up the main walk way, where the headless body of Mr Dre was marked noticing how the stains seem to be spreading out from there, and the blood on the display seem to catch his attenion the most leaving him standing peering closely at it carefully, making yet more notes on his pad.

Sean's Group

XYY-004 realed from the blows for a moment then began it's own attacks with it's fight arm while the left blocked the incoming blows from Rik. It's grin on it's cold metal lips seem to grow more and more sinster with each blow, while it's eyes seem to be flicker faster than the normal ones as if looking at each hit then towards those attacking it.

Sudenly as Mr lumps blow came onto it's left arm it stuck out taking first the arm Mr lumps had used then slashing it's arm into the stone mans side and chest. While it's Right arm went at Rik's chest towards his heart, each finger's end seem to be as sharp as the blades Sean used.

Simon flipped over the page of his notepad then taking again his pen out started noting down things into the pad as he slowly walked about the store, stopping every so often to take a much closer look at certain items, working his way to where the bodies were once.

Pasting by Max on his way, he gave her a quick polite nod before moving on.
