I stabbed my arm and the graphite was red after that!
Uh...
I uh... picked up my pencil, and lo, the lead was carmine red ColErase. It's pretty and red. I like red *twitch*
In all seriousness, ColErase owns my soul on three levels: Carmine Red, Tuscan Red, and Blue. I use these three for animation, character design, layout, etc. It's something about the lead itself. :3 -

Changed the name MMOART Exotics to MMOART Uncut. We just liked the sound and feel of it better. As for MMOART Toons, you'll just have to wait and see. I'm tryna build an empire! MUAHAHAHA!
[/ QUOTE ]
Ahhh gotcha.
Empire? First image that jumped into my head was Darth Gill...
XD
It'll be interesting to see you draw in a toony style, since in some ways, its more challenging to switch brains from comic to animation art. :3 -
So Gill, what's up with MMOToons? And what happened to MMOExotics?
Curiousity is killing me -
*bows to Lynx*
I have in the past. Oddly enough I've known your work since the Elfquest daysWendy was an old mentor of mine when I was a teenager.
I actually went back to school in 2004, and am working towards my Bachelors. But I've done character design for oddly: comics, preproduction/concept art for film pitches, and feature film. I've worked in comics since 2002. I just figured I needed better discipline to be a better artist...
So that was a longwinded explanation there...but anyways :3 -

Done in Illustrator. Illustrator how I <3 thee. Although these aren't finalized, I have to go through and edit some of the strokes. -
And amidst the commissions... I pause for a lil story drawing. Oddly the moment is a lot less dramatic than intention, but I like amping things up a bit XD. I'll cut the actual explanation out for now... I just felt like drawing...

Speaking of Wulfen, where the heck has he been? I have barely seen him around.

But...she does it so well! >:3 -
In the making... so while DJ has his awesome Poser explanation... I thought I'd just post one of my commission pieces through its paces.
Hemily's piece is only into the rough pencils but here's the first two bits... final pencils to follow shortly
Hemily Ruff
Hemily Ruff Pencils
Also, unrelated, here's a lil image for Rowr. Usually when I start commissions, I spend some time trying to figure out the character... I have a sketch page of Hemily sketches, I'll try and find it to upload it :3
Rowr
The problem with Rowr and Hemily together as a commission is finding each distinct personality and making sure they were true to themselves. Stiiiill working on Rowr. Fallen Skye and TA are next in the list... -

Danke! The whole Jack and the Beanstalk project really helped push me to be a non-lazy artist. Im hoping the non-slacker vibes will continue to rub off on me during the summer
And dear god I needa pick up my paints again. I miss watercolor -
Trying out Daz Studio... eeeeh. I think I'd rather draw ;3 Took this through photoshop since I didn't like the lighting or hair all that much... consider this a Work in Progress

Sayterra my man, you have read my mind lol! I actually suggested that same idea to Lush a few months ago. How uncanny! This of course will be way down the line, but I do want to put together some sort of art book with sketches, drafted concepts, all kinds of artwork really. Maybe even some basic how-to tutorials. One day... we'll see

*gently edits Gill's post to add a wo to the man*
Can't wait. My friends publish sketchbooks up to four times a year, great way to garner interest in your services. I'm putting together my own sketchbook as we speak, and pondering half color for this one. Or at least one color pinup. -
Well, there's an MSPaint challenge up on my SG's boards, and the recent MSPaint work here inspired me.
MOUSE ONLY...no tablets allowed. No other programs...

Gill... you know what you ought to do? Take those kinda sketches, assemble a sketchbook and sell it. Because folks LOVE seeing that kinda stuff. Put a few finished pieces in but seriously, it'd be a nice promotional item too
