No it is not. Fun rules the game. If you hunt for XP/badges and forget how to have fun with your teammates, you will get bored of the game soon enough. You can use XP/badges as a motivation to do specific things, but that's all.

EDIT: According to TradeMark_Saphi and Charnel below, my posts are considered off-topic and I ruined Donna's effort. So, although I can (and want to) answer to both of you through here, I won't. But don't blame me if you're going to continue answering other's posts, I can't really indicate to others what is right and wrong (as you're trying to do), I just wanted to lay out my opinion even if some don't like it.

I am not trying to make it harder, but you can't speak about "quality" without explaining what you think as quality. Giving/accepting an invite is just the first step. Staying in the team, having well slotted character that you know how to use and acting in a way that makes team happy instead of thinking only about how you will have fun, are some of them and way more important IMHO than the "invite" itself. By concentrating to "who accepts invite" you're loosing the actual target.

For example, by seeing your sig, I believe I must avoid you, because I don't like people who obey to XP. Do you see now what I mean? (no offense)

I am confused... How can you tell who is quality player and with what standards? Who qualify?

I embrace the whole Sunday thing because, as far as I know, is the worst day for PuGing (probably too many 12yo around that day?) but V6 been only 2-3 people, doesn't seem to be able to avoid it at all...

We need *at least* 3 new people in V6 from my point of view, to fill the gap, or else I am afraid there will be more grief and more people following Nightmarer's road.

This translates to "We can't do anything so that was it, good luck with your life", or to "We will try to do something about it"?

The power of V6 was that we were enough to make a team of our own and not invite random people (and then wait for them to adapt on how we work). If we are left only 2-3 people this is impossible (unless Chin does some serious recruiting courses ASAP).

Sundays at 12:00 GMT is ok for me (remember that at 28th time returns back to normal).

About suggestion (ii)
Applies only if you aren't going to build a tanker that tanks for a team, but for a tanker that usually solo missions (and this btw is against the MMO rationale -- common sense suggest that those who want to play solo, don't pay subscription).

Also you may want to check this if you decide to team with others with your tanker: I'd really like to know why
