Thanks for all the replies everyone. I don't mind a learning curve at all, i've been playing mmo's for close to 10 years now so I think I'll be able to figure things out. As for now, I think i'm going to play around with a fire/energy blaster. The knockback from the energy is really fun to start off with.

Well I originally started in 2006 I guess it was but I never made it past lvl 14 so I still kind of consider myself new to the game. Thanks for the suggestions though. I was thinking corruptor/blaster because I like ranged but i'll check out the scrappers and brutes.

I've just recently started playing City of Heroes. I played the trial for awhile and decided to purchase the game. I play by myself a lot and am looking for a at/build that can solo well. I've been looking at blasters and corruptors mostly but i'm not stuck on them. Can anyone suggest a at/build that would be good at soloing? AOE i've seen on the forums seems to be good in this game so I wouldn't mind trying out a aoe build. Thanks for taking the time to help me out!
