I missed the wedding lol.

Same here. I was stuck at work the day it happened which is the case when most of these event happen. I made it to 1 Halloween Party and that was it.
That allso happen to be the infamous Halloween Party where Back Ally Brawler was online as Manticore and Sean Fish wasn't even working for them at the time. -
I've noticed a couple replys regarding my favorite part of this next update claiming "it's a lame exscuse for the developers to get the players to do their jobs for them."
I don't really see it that way but I can understand why some people think that.
Personally I see it as a way for me to tell my own story and let other players take a part in it.
We will be able to make our own cut scenes as well I think and I don't really see alot of that being used I do have one thing I'd like to show in a cut scene however that may not even be possible.
Anyway whatever this turns out to be I'll use it as an opertunity to have something to do. Even if it is devs makeing players do their jobs it's still new content and that's something really lacking exspecially villain side.
There are still zones on the hero side I've never even seen, my level 50 is still getting missions to this day. Villain side however my level 50 MMs have exausted all their contacts and there's nothing to do that I haven't allready done.
Even makeing new villains is a real pain because I do the same missions with every character, not alot of new content has come up to suprise me after 5 level 50 villains.
Creating story archs, doing story archs other players have made, I'll love this sence this will mean not haveing to wait for a new update to exsperiance new content. There will allways be new missions to exsplore. -

Yeah that's all I ever do with my recipies is sell them. I tried to use them at one point but I discovered a couple flaws in the design.
1. IOs never exspire. This looked great on paper but that's because I thought that ment they were going to level up with you. I discovered it only means you'll get the same benifit the entire time you have them so you still end up haveing to replace them even though they don't exspire.
The only thing that makes enhancements that don't exspire any good is the idea that you never have to worry about them. Stick them in and forget about them but considering you'd be severly hindering yourself if you were useing a level 15 IO at level 50 this is not actully the case.
[/ QUOTE ]
So, here's the deal with IOs. Level 15 common IOs are better than DOs of any level. A +3 damage DO gives 19.16% enhancement, a level 15 IO gives 19.2%. That's only slightly better, but that DO will decay to 16.66% at even level, and lower when yellow. So, if you were going to slot a DO, slot a level 15 IO instead and not only will it be better, but it will never go yellow or red. This also saves you money because you don't have to buy new enhancements at level 17.
Once you hit level 22, replace these enhancements with SOs as usual, because you can't get common IOs that have more benefit (level 25 Common IOs are equal to -1 SOs, so you might as well slot SOs instead).
At level 27, you can slot level 30 IOs. Level 30 IOs are equivalent to +1 SOs, and they never expire. If you were going to slot SOs, slot level 30 IOs instead and you get the benefit of +1 SOs all the way to 50 without ever having to replace them.
It's true that 35, 40, 45, and 50 IOs are better than level 30 IOs, but if you were going to slot SOs anyway, at least save the money and hassle of replacing them every 5 levels.
[ QUOTE ]
2. The other problem I've found is the Bonuses that haveing multiple powers from the same set gives. The problem I have with this is if you want the bonus you have to have 1 of each enhancement from the same set in the same power. I had multiple of the same enhancement from a set and got no bonus from them, and I had multiple enhancements from the same set in two different powers and got no bonus from them.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, this is intentional. You have to slot the sets in the same power. If you didn't, you wouldn't be able to have more than one copy of the same set, which is one of the ways to get the most out of IO sets. For example, 5 sets of Crushing Impact will give you a 35% accuracy bonus and a 25% recharge bonus on all of your powers, not just the attacks you slotted them in, along with a couple of other lesser bonuses.
[ QUOTE ]
3. Alot of people seem to be under the impression that IOs are stronger than HOs but they actully seem to be weaker than SOs. I was looking at one of percentages as I replaced an SO of the same type and level with an IO and the number actully went down about 10%.
[/ QUOTE ]
Level 35+ IOs are universally better than SOs, you cannot get higher enhancement values from SOs than from level 35+ IOs. Level 30 IOs are equal to +1 SOs.
The multi-value enhancements do have lower values, but they give more of a bonus spread among the attributes they enhance. For example, a level 50 Acc/Dam/Rech enhancement gives a 21.2% bonus to each attribute. That's lower than an SO, yes, but with one enhancement, you are enhancing three attributes for a net bonus of 63.6%. To use Crushing Impact as an example again, a level 50 set gives you a total of:
Accuracy: 68.9%
Damage: 101.5% (143.1% before ED)
Endurance: 68.9%
Recharge: 68.9%
You absolutely cannot get bonuses like this from SOs. You can't even approach them. You can get them from HOs, but you will be trading about 33% from either endurance or recharge and getting extra in accuracy (which I feel is less useful, but others will disagree) because there are no HOs that combine any two of damage, endurance, and recharge-- you've only got Acc/Dams for attack slotting benefits. Meanwhile, the Crushing Impact set also gives you global set bonuses that the HOs will not, resulting in a set IO build being stronger than an HO build.
[ QUOTE ]
For all these reasons I've found it easier to just ignore them. I'm sure the set bonuses would make up for the loss in the percentage but the set bonuses aren't even worth it for me if I can only access them by placeing the entire set into a single power.
[/ QUOTE ]
In the majority of cases, there's no loss in percentage to make up for, it's pretty much a flat out gain.
But regardless, it probably is easier for you to ignore set IOs. I highly recommend, however, following my answer to your first issue-- level 15 common IOs at level 12, SOs at 22, and level 30 common IOs at level 27. You will save millions, and the hassle of upgrading more than 3 times in a character's lifetime.
If you want, at 50 you can slot level 50 common IOs for a decent boost beyond SO level, but if you're happy with SOs, I don't see much reason to suggest that you do so (it will be expensive, for not that much gain).
[/ QUOTE ]
1. It's less of a hassle to replace them every 5 levels and I don't waist any money sence I sell everything I get on the Black Market for tons of Inf. In the lower levels I get a little low on money and it's harder to sell my stuff but it works itself out in the long run.
I allso earn extra money by selling TOs sence I never use them. It doesn't take long to level up to the point where I can use DOs so I can deal with no enhancments till then.
2. I'd rather have more freedom with where I put my enhancmets than to have a bunch of copies of the same set bonus.
Which is actully yet another problem I forgot to adress. The whole set thing is just a pain in my @$$. You have several damage enhancement but oh guess what they can only be used in Melee powers and all I have is range.
I remember being really pissed when I made my first IO, tried to use it and discovered I couldn't because even though it was a common enahancement like Damage that all characters can use I couldn't slot it because it was only for Melee powers.
3. The overly complicated exsplinations for how IOs work really aren't helping the cause. The original idea seemed verry simple and easy to use and I liked that idea but it's how they were actully implimented that I absolutly hate. What originally seemed like a fairly simple addition to the game turned into one of the most complicated Enhancment types in the game. HOs were actully the exact oppiste. When I originally heard about them they sounded complicated but after useing them it became overly simplified.
Yet ANOTHER reason for me to hate IOs, no one seems to bother with HOs anymore. I can't remember the last time I've ever been to a Hami raid but they use to happen every day. I've never seen anyone do a Hami raid villain side and for that matter sence that zone opened I've never even seen more than 1 other person in there.
I've even attempted Buying HOs just to see if anyone had posted any or if any raids were going on I wasn't aware of and had a few bids up for about a month and nothing was ever gained. (My bids BTW were double the amount of the hiest price for the last HO sold so there's no reason I shouldn't of gotten an HO other than no HOs were being posted.) -

Going to play devils advocate with the day jobs feature. I'm not saying its good, or bad - more giving food for thought.
One downside to characters earning skills offline can be looked at by what Eve Online does. Their skill system is entirely based on real world time, not game time. Their downside is it can be elitist at times - if you don't have the skill points, you don't play with the big boys. Since it is real world time based, there is practically no way to catch up with characters that are around since the beginning of the game.
Also it leads to character and account sales being more common - which in Eve is actually encouraged by the company since they have a sponsored way to trade characters instead of ebay.
Finally, it makes your account significantly more interesting to account hackers and ebay sellers. There is now something in the game that can't be obtained by powerleveling and farming. The way to get that asset quickly, is to target characters that are older. Keyloggers and account hacks could become wider problems in CoH to nab accounts that have longer skill trained characters. Eve has a SEVERE problem with those tools.
Now likely those problems will be minimal compared to Eve. Or even nonexistant. Just something to be aware of though.
[/ QUOTE ]
There is another way to catch up to other players allthough it's not verry practicle. Sence the skills are earned while offline the key is not to log on but why would anyone want to pay for an account they're not going to log onto. (I am of course assumeing that the time spent offline would not be applied to accounts that aren't being paid for.)
However if you do actully get credit for your offline character even if your account is non active than people with multiple accounts could simply stop paying for one account to get some offline credit while they play a second account then switch them the next month.
Come to think of it, sence everyone will begine the update offline do we get credit for that offline time between launch and when we actully sign in for the first time? And if so are we going to get some warning so we can log off in an appropriate place the night before the update?
I'm sure eventually they'll come out with a list of locations and the jobs tied to them.
I wander how I can enlist myself as an actor? Movie theater would probly just be that you work in the ticket office at the theater or some other job there. I've noticed there are actully signs in some areas for a live theater in Paragon City. If I could log off there that would put me into my real life day job. lol
Can't remember exactly where that live theater is but I belive it's in Atlas Park. -

Day Jobs: My question about this is, what if you don't log off in the same place every day? Or better yet, what about when you loose conection to the game and you don't actully have controll over where you loged off at? How can a player maintain his or her day job? It kinda sounds like we're forced to log off in sertain areas if we want to maintain a spicific job and that's NOT something I'm looking forward to.
[/ QUOTE ]
From my reading, you get themed credit toward in-game benefits based on where your character is when they're not being actively played. If you want to maintain a fixed 'day job' for the character, you'll need to take them back to the same spot -- or at least the same-themed spot -- before you log out. I expect, for example, that any university would give you the same benefit.
[/ QUOTE ]
That wasn't exactly what I asked but you're close. You did address one of my issues that I'd need to log off in the same themed area in order to maintain that job.
However you didn't really address my other consern. Getting dissconnected and ending up in a job I didn't even want. This is actully more of a concern than having to log off in a spicific place.
As an added note, what about thoughs rare glitches where you log off in a zone like St. Martial and log on inside the casino even though you were nowhere near the caseno when you loged off. Are you going to get credit for the place you actully loged off at and/or credit as a Black Jack Dealer?

New Invention Origin Sets: Have not liked Inventions. It looked good on paper but have more of a hassle than I care to deal with.
[/ QUOTE ]
I suspect that they're filling out some of the gaps in the sets -- for example, there are no Healing sets that give a bonus to Accuracy, even though several of the heal powers require that you hit a target to get the heal. Whether or not you use them is a personal choice; if you don't, that gives you more things you can sell on the market to get influence/infamy.

a Patron Power Respec: This is an AWSOME thing. Now Villains will be able to change their Patron powers like Heroes are able to change their Archillary powers.
[/ QUOTE ]
It would be awesome if the patron pools were buffed to where they were comparable to the hero Ancillary power pools, and even more awesome if heroes got a set of pools similar to the villan Patron pools whle villains got non-patron Ancillary pools like the heroes, but adding a bunch of power pools, plus the story arcs for the hero Patron pools, is a lot of work, particularly with the move to the left coast and integrating new people into the development team. I really don't see that happening before the following issue at the earliest... but I can hope.
[/ QUOTE ]
I sort of half agree with you but it doesn't really matter. We're getting a Patron Respec which makes up for the one complaint I had about Patron Powers in the first Place, we're no longer locked into our powers. Heroes were never locked into their powers so it was unfair that the villains had to be. -
[ QUOTE ]
Rial_Vestro thanks for the feedback.
Update: I should have been clearer on the costume selection. The costume dialog I was refering to is the one you get showing you your current costume slots you already have, not so much creating a new one (ala 'costumes' from the menu).
I guess I suggested limiting the player NPC powers because no matter how involved the story is, it is still about the players experience in the game and what they can do, not the achievements of the NPCs in the mission.
It also provides a simpler solution that hopefully has a better chance of seeing the light of day! (*smiles at Devs*)
[/ QUOTE ]
OK I understand the limitation of NPC powers to some exstent but I still don't think they should be limited to ONLY useing 1 Defencive and 1 Offencive power. First off all depending on what the character is they may not have any of one and all of the other. Maybe limit them to 1/4 of your total powers so you could choose 1 power from each pool and you would have a wider selection of your Primary and Secondary to choose from.
Allso exsclude any Temp Powers, Veteran Powers, or Accolades your character has from being used by your NPC. Only Primary, Secondary, Inherent, and Pool* powers are allowed.
*I'm includeing Archillary/Patron when I'm talking about Pool Powers. They are Epic Pool Powers. -
[ QUOTE ]
Yay for once i think i might have been apart of giving devs the idea of customisable missions.
i did post a suggestion of at least a storyarc writing contest a while back when I12 was still in development.
Although i have to say i was really hoping bases would get some loving, at least add a couple of little tweats such as making objects float much easier and trimming the bluprint on some of the objects.
Although, i'm looking forwad to I13
[/ QUOTE ]
In regard to bases, I've allways been hopeing for PERSONAL bases which would be simular to the SG Bases we have now but much cheaper and with some other changes as well.
I'd like to have a Bat Cave as well as a Hall of Justice. (I wouldn't actully use thoughs names in game, I'm useing them now as a metaphor.) -
[ QUOTE ]
I would normally put this under suggestions, but since it is specific to I13 components...
Player Origin Story Arcs
An idea for an earned bonuses in mission creation. There are many cases of missions involving the rescue, and subsequent teaming with an NPC hero. This occurs everywhere from Outbreak tutorial door mission to lvl 50 missions. So why not use this concept for player created content. One problem is changing the story for existing NPCs. The solution. The authour becomes the NPC!
When creating a Player Origin Story Arc a player sees the costume selection dialog and chooses a costume for the part. The costume is recorded (ala demo file) and the player can choose one travel power, one offensive, one defensive, and one additional powers from their toon at the time of creation. The AI will decide how these are used, just as in missions with supporting NPC. Players, must rescue and/or team with the new NPC, but powers of the player created NPC are scaled as is currently done in such missions. Also the players running the mission must keep the NPC player alive.
This would allow players to create their own character origin stories. Influence and level advancement within the game might be great, but how cool would it be to have someone in the game come up to you and say, "Hey I know you, I saved you from ..." or, "Hey I know you, you helped me defeat ...". This is real recognition in the game!
The ultimate use for this is applying it to SGs, where up to 5 characters from an SG can be selected, only 2 appearing at any one time, to tell the origin story for your super group!!!
[/ QUOTE ]
I really like this idea. All except for the part about the limitations on the NPC's powers. Regular NPCs have more powers than that so why limit it that much?
Allso sence you're just placeing yourself inside the mission you should be chooseing from your costume slots rather than makeing a costume allthough that would allso solve the problem of how to get my villains into the mission.
When you're placeing your arch villain at the end of the mission arch have it go to the Character Creator and sort of "recreate" the character you want to appear in the mission allthough it would be easier if you could choose villains from the character select screne.
Anyway if you did insert yourself as a helper NPC the only power limitations I think there should be is that the NPC version of you is exemplared down to the mission holder's level and is subject to the same effect that you yourself would be in. Meaning if the NPC is level 10 it can't use any powers you recived AFTER level 10.
The NPC version would essentally just be you but being controlled by an AI and would in effect be just as stupid as every other NPC charging around attacking everything in sight.
Anyway, I would still use this feature even if we couldn't place our characters into the mission but it's something I'd want added to the feature in a future update if it's not part of the innitial launch.
BTW we should allso be able to choose what rank "Minion, LT, Boss, ect" our own characters appear as in each mission that way we can have the same character appear in multiple missions at higher difficulties without effecting their levels. (A level 50 Arch Villain is much harder to defeat than a level 50 Minion.)
Maybe rather than NPC version haveing real enhancments they can just be based on rank.
Hero/AV = to your character haveing fully slotted HOs/IOs
EB = to your character haveing fully slotted SOs
Boss = to your character haveing fully slotted DOs
LT = to your character haveing fully slotted Trainings
Minion = to your character haveing No Enhancments.
Note the NPC versions would have MORE slots than you have allowing them to have 1 of the hiest level of every Enhanment a power can take. -

And even by your standards you should realize...
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually? By my standards, The Punisher is NOT a hero.
I don't currently have a character who uses guns. There's already plenty of video games out there where that's the primary attack: pick up a couple guns and shoot them. Lara Croft has two guns. That got old by the end of the first tomb raid.
By my standards, guns are about as fun as banging one's head against a wall repeatedly. It is for example the reason I left Anarchy Online. I'd rolled up a dude who basically that's all he did. He came up against something that looked scary? He'd shoot at it. That was the extent of the roleplaying in Anarchy Online.
I support the second amendment to the US constitution, because an armed society is a polite one, but I don't support guns in my gameplay. Not anymore.
If I'm gonna play a super hero, in a super hero game, energy blasts just seem more fun. Or cold breath. Or plant control. Or throwing refrigerators, cars, and pool tables at people. Even brandishing a sword is more interesting than shooting stuff. I'd been shooting at stuff since the heady days of Castle Wolvenstein. I kinda got that out of my system by around Quake 3.
But that's just by my standards. YMMV. =)
[/ QUOTE ]
Ah I get it now. You just don't like guns in general. The way it sounded before was you didn't think the deves could come up with a powerset for Dual Pistols. I was just pointing out that they could sence they allready made a powerset for a single rifle.
Anyway you don't have to play them but other people want to play them. -
[ QUOTE ]
Perhaps the problem is coming up with the power sets. What powers would you give for dual guns? The only one I can think of is "shoots both guns at same time" ooh. ahh. How does one make a primary power set of eight different kinds of attacks. I guess "shoots left hand gun only" and "shoots right hand gun only." Okay that's three. now what? "shoots both guns at same time but the left one first and then the right one and twice this time for double damage." Okay that's four. I don't know about you but that gets old real fast. "turns around and shoots behind his back cuz it looks cool." okay now we got five. "bends over and shoots both guns in between his legs cuz it looks insanely stupid yet cool cuz his hat doesn't fall off." Okay that's six. I'm stumped.
[/ QUOTE ]
Technically Pistols allready has 3 attacks in game.
Single Shot, Dual Weild, and Empty Clips.
Single shot is as it sound, 1 shot from either gun, it doesn't appear to be set to any spicific gun.
Dual Weild fires both guns once at the same time.
Empty Clips fires both guns individually, multiple times, in rappid succession.
There are ALOT more things you can do with a pair of pistols than just the things you listed. If you want to have that attitude exactly how many attacks do you think you can get out of a single gun? We've had the rifle in CoH sence the game started and they managed to get more than one attack out of that. By your standards the only attack it should have is Shoot Shot Gun.
And even by your standards you should realize you can get ALOT more attacks with 2 guns than with 1. -
Actully I just went back a re-read this trying not to focus so much on the Mission Architect which I've allready talked about to death.
New Powersets: New Powersets are allways a good thing yet I even have some complains and conserns in this area as well.
Shields: Thanks for that one but as I exsplained in an earlier post where are the Pistols we were promisted after Thugs came out. Pistols was supose to be reworked so it wasn't only avalible with Thugs.
Pain Domination: This one really bugs exspecially after reading the description. I got so many complaints about this I can't even go into right now, this deserves it's own post.
New Cimerora Missions: This is definatly something I am looking forward to. I was vastly dissapointed with Cimerora when I realized the only contacts there were for the TF and repeatable mission that get exstreamly boring after about 10 min. I'd allso like to sugest more missions for the conecting zone, Midnighter's Club as there is NOTHING to do in there. There are literally no contacts what so ever in the Midnighter's Club and the only mission you can do in there is talk to some guy as the LAST mission for the Story Arch that granted you acess to the zone in the first place which seemed like a big waist of time once I realized I did all that so I could gain access to a zone with nothing to do in it. That is untill level 35 when I'm actully able to access Cemeroa.
The Merit Rewards System: This one just confuses me, don't we allready have this?
New Invention Origin Sets: Have not liked Inventions. It looked good on paper but have more of a hassle than I care to deal with.
new Costume Sets: Allways welcome! I love this, no complaints here.
a Patron Power Respec: This is an AWSOME thing. Now Villains will be able to change their Patron powers like Heroes are able to change their Archillary powers.
Zone Refinements: That seems like a good thing as well. I'm guessing it's something like the changes that were made to Faultline, the Hollows, and the conversion from Rikti Crash Sight to Rikti War Zone.
Over all, I'm still overly excited about Mission Architect. -
[ QUOTE ]
Captain America rip offs, here we come! Even if you include energy shields there's only a tiny handful of heroes that use them especially as their signature powers.
Think of the hundreds of comic book heroes that use pistols. Also, pistols have been talked about for longer and more heatedly than shields have seriously been talked about, IMO.
For me, the only thing I really wanted in i13 was Pistols and it's not there. I would have taken a Battle Axe scrapper as a substitue (sue me, so I want another lethal weapon set for scrappers), but even Proliferation is not on the list.
[/ QUOTE ]
Actully, a while back they put up a vote for what the next new power sets were going to be and whatever won was supose to have ended up in the game.
Dual Blades and Sheild were the powersets that won that poll however it turned out Sheild would be more complicated to program than they had originally thought so they gave us the second runner up, Willpower.
So they are now giveing us Shields to make up for an earlier mistake.
However I do agree that pistols needs to come out as a powerset. I could see it being used as a Primary for Blasters and Corrupters and a Secondary for Defenders and Dominators.
We have Pistols now in the form of the Thugs powerset and we were told when that powerset came out that Pistols would be reworked for use on other Archetypes. This was before the thing with the Sheild powerset so I think it's kinda unfair to give people sheilds but not Pistols as both were promised but have yet to be delivered.
Even with all that said I'm looking forward to the Mission Creator and the simple fact that we'll have that makes me not really care about anything else. They could be adding the best most wanted powerset in the entire history of Co* and I wouldn't care. I'm that focused on the mission creator!
There are a few other things in I13 I'm looking forward to and would probly be more excited for them if all my focus wasn't being drawn to one thing. Everything else seems rather... insignificant to me right now.
I'm a Mastermind fanatic and even a new Primary powerset for Masterminds wouldn't excite me as much as the Mission Creator does.
I don't have words to describe how much I want to create my own missions. -
I only have one question...
About the mission creator thing...
Can I insert my own characters as NPCs into the missions?
To be more spicific let's say I'm building a story arch while playing Lord Imperial (My level 50 DDD) can I make it so the ultimate goal in the last mission is to defeat Lord Vestereo? (My Level 50 Zombie/Dark MM)
I am assumeing that we can in fact play on our own story archs as well as distrubute them to other players and I actully lied as I have 2 questions...
Is there some NPC contact these player made story archs will be linked to or do we take the missions directly from the players that created them?
Meaning would there be a contact that would have all the player made missions listed and you just select the missions that way or would someone have to ask me directly if I have any mission for them to do that I created?
Oh and sorry if this has allready been asked don't have time to read through the posts at the moment. -
This is just an update. Sence no one has contacted me about this series in FOREVER and the one's that have only did so to tell me they no longer had the time to devote to the project I just kinda gave up on it.
In a new attempt to regain interest I'm working on a solo series staring The Gothic Sword, Bounty Hunter for Hire, in...
BREAKING THE 4TH WALL!
This series as the title sugests is a comedy. Gothic Sword is one of my more serious characters who actully kills people for a living, has no real identity as he's nothing more than a clone, and his name is Gothic Sword! The only way I could turn this into a comedy was to drive a poor man insaine and have him hearing voices, one spicifically, the narrator hence, Breaking the 4th wall.
I've just uploaded a trailer onto you tube. I through this thing togeather in literally like 2 min sence it's just the Trailer. I'll put more effort into the actual series.

OK I just tried the "Kill Rom 4 times" method but there was a problem. We killed him once and he fell back into a wall when he died so was unable to rez.
We ended up killing the Nictus anyway and completed the TF so I now have my armor for Lord Vestereo. For a while there my main characters lost their matching costumes.
(Got a Blue and White costume on my hero while my villain wears Black and Red versions of the same costumes. Not completly the same but verry simular. I even put the spiked roman crest on my villain while my hero has no crest.) -

The first time I did the TF we tried to go straight for Rom, couldn't even DMG him and we all died. How's that method supose to work if he can't be DMGed?

preferable with 2 people w/taunt. you want to separate the healing nictus and the other nictus's away from rom. rom is a squishy compared to the nictus

Ah, now I get it. Most of the teams I been on who try to seperate them end up attacking the Nictus first not Rom. I'll have to try that next time I do the TF or at least sugest the idea and hope the team will try it. Some people don't wanna go for the whole "Kill him multiple times" thing but that does sound easier and more rewarding than Killing Nictus. -

I'd like to put in a tip here for the last mission.
I've done this TF twice with my Defender and about 8 times with my Mastermind.
Only one of thoughs teams has actully completed the TF. I'm begining to notice a pattern.
Every team I've been on has tried to seperate the Nictus and Romulus thinking they can be attacked if they're not near eachother. While that is true it's hard as hell the actully do and even if you do manage it once I've yet to see a team that can duplicate it a second time.
The one team I was on that actully completed the TF gave up on that idea. They tried it once and just gave up. We figured out that one of the Nictus CAN actully be attacked regardless of how close it is to the others.
The order seems to go, Summoner (The one that casts all the Lt. and Minion versions of itself), Healer (as much as I hate that word.), and then you can attack Romulus while the last one is still out.
This method does work, I've done it but seems most teams won't even try it. They'd rather try the harder method of getting them seperated.
Now the down side to this method of killing them where you attack without seperating them is actully getting everyone to attack the same target and not haveing alot of DMG dealers on the team doesn't help either.
As long as you can see the health bar move, even if it doesn't seem like much movement you're doing good. If you're on the wrong target the health bar won't move at all. -
Another schedualing update.
"Anna in the Tropics" has ended so I'm out of the plays for at least 3 weeks till "Hank Williams Lost Highway" finishes it's run.
I still have my other job that I have to do but as I said before the hours are little more flexible on that. I have to clean both theaters before Noon PST on Wednessday so I could be working Monday, Tuesday, or Wednessday. If you want to schedual an apointment with me on any of thoughs days I need advance notice so I can rework my schedual. If you don't contact me by the Saturday before at the latest (any amount of time earlier than that is acceptible) I'm not even going to see you on thoughs days.
If you want to schedual an appointment for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday I won't be working on thoughs days so you can make an apointment for them at any time. You could even show up without an apointment allthough there's no garantee I'll be awake when you log on unless I'm exspecting you to come.
And in case you missed it in my last post just a reminder.
Auditions are still open for me till the 29th of this month. If you'd like to schedual an Appointment please do so by PM.
For thoughs of you I've sent call backs to I need your information by the 30th of this month. -
I probly should have posted this on the 13th but I was a little buisy.
Everyone who has not yet auditioned has been removed from my contact list. In the future you will not even be added to my contact list untill you actully show at the Audition.

For thoughs of you I've sent call backs to I need your information by the 30th of this month. So far only Escher has contacted me.
The 31st I will be looking over your scheduals for next months time and schedualing call backs in a way that'll allow me to see the most people in the least amout of time. If I do no not get your schedual it'll make it harder for me to schedual you for a call back. -

As far as I know I auditioned with only one of you, but I've received PMs from both of you regarding the audition I did. Not quite sure how that works unless you recorded it... hehe... I'm just looking forward to getting started! This is gonna be a blast!

We asked everyone we recorded if it was OK before even starting to record so you should of been aware of that. If we didn't ask you either you didn't remember being some time in Jan/Feb or we didn't record.
As I recall you were on with me and you gave me the go ahead to record the Audition. Dragon sent you the call back based on what he heard from the recording. -
Just to make things clear in case there's any confusion. The reasons for haveing 2 directors is preddy simple.
1. I hate the sound of my own voice. I'm playing Lord Imperial because he is based on me, he has my voice but I can't actully direct myself just because no matter how I sound it's allways going to sound horrible to me. "We're all our own worst critics" I hired Dragon to be my Assistant Director so he's basically there to direct me.
2. We're each casting our own characters. I have no say in who will get cast for Dragon's parts and he has no say in who gets cast for my characters.
In short, if you're going for a spicific role make sure you're PMing the correct Director or just post in the main topic if you're not sure who to talk to.
I'm not posting with 2 accounts but the people who auditioned allready should know that from speaking with us. -
Just posting to update you.
I've been discussing the Auditions and Call Backs with Dragon. We've decided to do our Call Backs seperatly so if you're called back for a Dragon character you'll need to speak to him and he'll give you that info. "Your on time if you're 5 min. Early and you're late if you're on time."
As for my Auditions and Call Backs, things are looking good and I think I'll have Auditions done by the end of the month (with the exceptions of red names who will be schedualed for a later date) and start Call Backs on the first of next month.
if you have not Auditioned yet you still have time, please get ahold of me as soon as possible and set up an Audition date.
For thoughs who have Auditioned allready, I'll send out Call Back inormation to you by PM letting you know what characters you'll be called back for* I'll need your next month scheduals so I can work out a decent call back schedual that will allow me to see the most people in the least amount of time.
Once I have you're scheduals I'll post the call back times by CHARACTER. If I sent you a PM calling you back for that character you will need to show up at that call back. If you can't show up because of schedualing issues, that's why I need your schedual so I can set aside a seperate call back for you if need be.
You shouldn't have any TS issues for call backs as you've allready been on once so I won't allow reschedualing for call backs except in the previous case of schedual conflicts.
If any of this isn't clear please let me know any questions you have about the Call Back process.
* The Characters you're being called back for are NOT the characters you've actully been cast as, they're just parts I'm considering you for and want to hear more of from you. We'll actully work togeather this time and fine tune what I allready like about you to make it better.
Important Note: I'm sending you the characters you're being considered for through PM for a reason, do not by any means tell others what parts or how many parts you're being considered for. If you break this rule you WILL NOT BE CAST!
