They've mentioned you can. In the section about what is allowed to start preatorian, it's mention that although you must start a *EAT on it's respective side, they can go rogue.

My biggest issue is the game does not like me selling Enhancements. Two characters I was working on the upper ACC IO badges frequently have "Tell me what you are doing" crashes... and recently had it happen to another character get that on a regular SO being added to the market (some times I can get none in, sometimes up to four before it crashes. occasionally no issues at all...)

the issue with high level family isnt that they are high level, its that they are gravity controll... It should be MIND CONTROLL. Makes more sense to me, as they bully people into believing they need to do whatever crime, the mob needs them to do.

I think jade was meaning /bind with those /macros
difference being one creates a power icon to use and binds change what a keystroke does.

You could also try a rotating bind if the combo-bind isn't working reliably for you.

Hello, I've just finished downloading the game via the COHupdater and when i go to run the COH.exe it tells me to run the updater, when i run the updater it tries to download to whole game again. I havent changed any settings, its installed to C:Program files/City of heroes, I really dont want to wait another 5 hours to have another 3gb of my hdd used up for no reason so any help would be great.

Edit: It was trying to download the whole game again into the folder C:Program files/city of heroes/city of heroes, now that i've sorted that out it says "Error reading COHupdater.exe, you may be out of disk space or not have permissions or whatever"
My laptop is brand new, has 4gb of RAM and 290gb free hdd space.
Again, help help would be appreciated
Edit: I worked it out for myself, needed to move the original updater I downloaded to initially download the client into the main city of heroes folder, this bug really shouldn't happen with a Pay to Play game. The original updater should be copied or moved to the selected installation folder automatically and until that can be done a sufficient guide should be provided for the faulty game installation. -

Recipes have to be crafted (for a low sum of inf only, IIRC) and count as a "Freespec" not a earned respec (you can use /respec on freespecs only). Also, can't craft a Respec recipe if you have an already existing freespec (only 1 freespec at a time. "Earned" respecs stack). -

Actually, if you have anywhere over 30% defense, the streak breaker doesn't do anything.
EDIT: Even if you only have 15% defense, each mob attacking you would need to attack you 6 times before the code actually kicks in, since they have independent "streaks" running. If three hundred mobs attacked you once, the streak breaker could never kick in.
But I was WP, and I don't think any of our buffers were FF or Ice... so my defense was about 15%. And even without streakbreaker, there is that 5% chance. -

I'm not sure how this reacts with a macro, but the following DOES work on a bind:
/bind KEY "target_friend_next$$powexecname Speed Boost"
Keep in mind you have to give the power a moment to recharge, but if you press it early the power will queue and go off when recharged.
Also, like Rajani mentioned, you can put filters in by changing the target command a little, for example:
/bind KEY "+$$target_custom_next friend alive notmypet teammate$$powexecname Speed Boost"

I just tested, and the macro version of the same command string does not work correctly at all. I guess you are better off binding it to a key instead. Personally, on my buffing toons, I use the 1234 keys for various buffs. -

Note that it is free to have a second spec, and it is free to switch between the two specs. There is a 15 minute cooldown between switching. Switching refreshes all cooldowns (including the 2hr cooldown on the Mission Teleporter).

Few notes :
Travel Powers - In addition to fly for running the Atlas Park Safeguard/Mayhem while TRAINED UP to level 5+, you can get a Super Jump temp power for being trained up to level 10+ and running the Kings Row mission. Note, the temp power awards based on your trained up (Security or Threat Level that gets you new powers and enhancement slots) level, not your combat (DING! More Hp/Damage/etc level - you have a green arrow pointing up in the HP/End/Menu bar).
Safeguards vs. Mayhems
Biggest difference is this : Safeguards, RUN TO THE BANK. Kill the mobs inside.
Mayhem, walk to the bank, defeat mobs on the way. In mayhems, longbow spawn ambushes when you pass certain points.
For Flashback, there are some mission in this game that are not part of a story arc, nor do they give a badge. However, they still might give a nice temp power. Unfortunately for those wanting to flashback the temp powers, no badge nor a story arc means no flashback.

Out of curiosity - do the ambushes purposely agro the stalker, or was I just lucky that time? (Oh look, a kill switch! Oh look, massive number of attacks to break through my defense via Streakbreaker! Guess which takes less time to happen?)

Although, be aware that there is one mission against AntiMatter (I believe) where he is scripted to teleport out, and doesn't count towards the badge... That has confused many a running tally that I've kept.

My guess is if they open up pools on the other side for heroes and villains, it wil end up in the situation of you will finally have some form of Patron AND ancillary pool for both sides. Or maybe that's one of the benefits of not switching... *shrug*
