Did it not ask you for your credit card info when purchasing the pack?
Generally card-on-file is for in-game purchases (slots, transfers, respecs).
Anyway, that would be under the billing section, IIRC.

The billing summery area. -

Okay, not counting any weekend days, it can take up to 48 hours for the test server to receive any notice of a reactivated account. Not sure if it's manual or not, but it syncs it's copy of the account DB to the Live copy only once a day, at most.

Quote:Yeah, this would be the best thing to do. I know it would work fine with Twilight Grasp, but that drops a psuedopet at the caster's, not the target's location, so different mechanics there. It's a different situation though. The server has to perform different powers in a specific order so what you see is one power affects the enemy (killing them) so your entire power fails. In this situation the power is successful so all of the effects of the power should be applied. I could be wrong but everything I've seen suggests otherwise.
in any case it should be pretty easy to check. Go find a low level NPC in Atlas and keep casting transfusion on them until it procs and they die then see if you get the healing. -
Quote:Actually, today's announcement states that, from NCSoft, you can only pre-order the basic, online-only, expansion. This gives the early access, but no "goodie pack" or play time. 30US$.If you want DP and DS early, you prepay. Period.
If you want the basic GR, you buy the basic GR.
If you want the CE GR, you buy the CE GR.
You can pre-purchase either. Thus far, we don't know anything about a $10 goodie upgrade for costume stuff. Why anyone would want to spend $10 on the costumes of GR and not anything else relating to GR is beyond me.
Also, yes, the PlayNC store will probably break the day this goes up for sale. So don't be a rear-end-in-a-top-hat and press BUY 45 times, then complain that you bought GR 45 times.
The 40US$ has the 30 days play time, the pack, and is a full copy of the game as well, but is not available for pre-order from NCSoft, therefore no early access to Dual Pistols or Demon Summoning.
Also, the pack is two costume sets, related auras, that presence power, and four "stance" emotes - nothing said they were particularly praetorian themed. -
Since it's digital only, the pre-order-able Expansion edition will be from the NCSoft store.
-
It's because of his location. Due to various issues, IIRC, NCSoft sells through distributors in various South American countries - such as Level Up! Games in Brazil (?) and I can't remember who Leoandro goes through.
-
Also, make sure of your slots.
If your computer is more than 1 or 2 years old, (and I would say way likely if more than 3) you might have an AGP port, and no PCI-E ports (which pretty much all modern cards are). It's something to be careful of. -
Quote:That's the gem right there.I believe you're correct. Procs are coded to affect either the caster or the target (rule of thumb is that buffs affect the caster and debuffs affect the target). The Performance Shifter is a wierd one. It's coded to affect the Target but becuase of the wide variety of powers that can use it who the target is can vary wildly.
If the proc/120 says "caster", then it affects only the caster. If it says target, it will affect any target of the power. Please note, with the kinetics heal and the +end proc, the power targets the enemy, drains end, and drops a psuedopet to do the actual heal, thus, in that case only the enemy benefits from the proc. -
Bill means - in PvE, you primarily deal with Mez Protection. This must be overcome before your mezzed.
In PvP, there is only resistance - which shortens the duration. -
The only kinds of people who find Vahz "easy" right away are dark armor types (the first shield power includes toxic resist - which is 75+% of vahz damage) and high positional defense types (Shield, SR, Ice?). Catch is, melee and ranged defense tend to be split between two different powers.
-
You would be better off asking for that proc to be switched to Knock-up.
Unlike other "mez" the magnitude IS duration - in this case, distance - of the knockback. What you are asking for - that mag only be checked to see if it affects the target - would require a complete rewrite of the mechanics of Knocks, and piss off a good number of people besides.
Also the alternative - changing the existing knock "down" into knockup - would probably also piss off a good number of people, as a lot of melee attacks used to have clear knockback, but was changing to knockdown. This was done so those who wanted to could slip in an enhancement to put it back to knockback.
If you get an immobilize effect, most of them include knock resistance... but that also completely protects them from being knocked. -
There is paypal, also, have you tried seeing if you could order them off Amazon.com's portal for your region?
-
Do we have confirmation on that, or are you just going off the DXP announcment?

It because of that, though, that shield buffs tend to give both. Also why IO set bonuses that give defense to positional also give some to typed.

Quote:Actually, it IS an exploit. Just because the developers don't mind you using it - at least not enough to "fix" it - doesn't mean it's it's intended. And unless some exploit is found based on how we can use the Markets to store influence over the cap, I doubt it will change (and if it does, and is changed merely to stop the over-storage, I'm pretty sure they will let us know. They have before). It is not an exploit. An exploit means that the devs don't want you using the market in this way.
Scarcity is the main reason, and while I think the storage of extra influence does indeed affect the costs, I seriously doubt removing the ability to do so would affect a downward trend in prices large enough to make it worthwhile.Quote:Also, being able to store more than 2B does NOT drive up prices. Sorry, but you're misinformed. Increased demand of a scarce commodity does this all on it's own.
Incorrect. It is merely WAD - Working As Designed. If they wanted to make it so we could store inf over 2 Billion yet cap transactions at 2 billion they could easily accomplish that. Do not confuse WAD for WAI.
If someone left because of it, I would laugh. Same if the devs finally put some of those non-existent items into the drop tables :P If you are going to store influence in the market in such a fashion, beware.Quote:And would also lose a LOT of accounts for NCSoft as these players cancel their accounts after having the company steal from them. Or, if worse comes to worst, they'd move into distributing their earnings amongst their alts and you'd see a lot more items priced close or at the inf cap.
Even worse, driving up demands for certain levels of salvage while not running in those levels (Globals, especially, as they are set bonuses so level does matter in their functioning).Quote:Actually, things started going screwy with the advent of the Merit system. Now, instead of a steady stream of randomly generated recipes, you are given an award that is (in most cases) insufficient to actually purchase an identical recipe and can be hoarded for spec-bought purchasing at specific levels. Further reducing the spread of recipes generated.
Because the drops are still in game. Base salavage is a bad example.Quote:You can't get drops of base salvage either. Yet they still remain on the market interface.
But basically, if it's in the "item" database it is in the CH listing - it was set up this way to minimize upkeep. And as you can see, there are a lot of things that have been put in but never made it live. -
Quote:Just because it kicks doesn't mean it avoids redraw. In fact, [Kick] does force redrawI sent Castle a PM with an idea like this some time ago, it took some similar ideas. In retrospect changing the Tier 1 into a kick version of Power Thrust might be a better idea.
The biggest reason why this is so Kick heavy is to prevent issues with Weapon redraw. I know that isn't quite the issue it used to be, but I find the whole "Holster, Punch, Draw" concept a little jarring.

And currently there is the closed beta for the Dual Pistols going on.
Pre-order Going Rogue when it becomes available, and you can play the set during DXP on the weekend of 3/4/10 -
Quote:You fail.Um, Total Focus? Gun drone's animation is 7 seconds too I think (or something equally absurd). I also think frozen aura is less than half a second faster than Eagle's Claw.
Just saying.
Bringing up Gun drone here isn't really relevant, as it's a pet drop power, not a standard XManip t9. Total Focus is a good pull though. -
Log into your Play NC Master account.

On the right side of the screen is a box that is on all the pages. Click on your CoH account (yellow circle) to go to the page pictured. Click on "Upgrade account" (green circle) to use the code - you do not need to type in the code, it will list codes available to your account. -

Quote:Being able to have a wedding for under five grand with damages is always good.I got out of my wedding for under $5000. Bought my wife her rings in St. Marrtin for $750 (engagement and wedding bands 1.7 ctw total) rented a small rural country club for $200, paid $7.50 a plate for 175 people ($1320) $700 for booze, the rest in misc. expenses, dress, tux, flowers(at cost from my second cousin the florist), damages (my friend drove his truck onto the 10th tee box because it was dark and the cart path look kind of like a road)
Edit: First after a red name,
