Quote:What I really want is the G19, but I have enough sanity to realize I need to upgrade my computer first. My (original) G15 is still doing just fineThis sounds like a winner to me. I recently got a Logitech G9x laser mouse and I'm impressed enough with it to check out their other products.

Also, one thing a lot of the G-series keyboards have is the "Computer <-> Gaming" switch - which disables the windows key.
EDIT : And to clarify - there is the G15, and G15 Gaming Keyboard. The G15 is the original, and has 18 macro keys. People complained they couldn't fit this specialized keyboard into normal keyboard trays (what>?!) and so it was replaced by the "gaming" version with only 6 macro keys. -
With all that ski-ba-bop-ba-dop-bop how could he not move?

Quote:The issue with backpacks is currently there are no attach points for them on the model.Back when we were still on the old boards, a red name said they liked the idea. I haven't seen any mention of it since, so I doubt it.
We are finally getting animated tails AND tails split off as a separate item from belts, and that's only because they gave the models a new node for the tails to hang off of. -
Not for reserving, for buying when it goes on sale in the NCSoft online store (said to be March 2nd).
Note, you cannot pre-order/purchase the "Complete Edition" which includes 1 month game time, can start a new account (if you want to), and the "CE" goodies that is 40US$.
Only the expansion-only, digital-only, 30US$ version (no time, no goodies) is available early, thus granting early access to the power sets (Dual Pistols in March, Demon Summoning in April.) -
Quote:I find that when it's real minor like stone spears or Psi tornado, the KU doesn't send them high enough to make that angle matter.Stone Spears
Also, my experience is that knockup doesn't literally throw the target straight up into the air. The target seems to go up at a random slight angle. I've knocked up targets to my right and had them land to my left, so I know they are not going perfectly up and down. They usually land very close to where they started off, but not in precisely the same spot.
I have always thought that explosive blast (energy blast) should do high order knockup. -
Search for posts by a perp named Culex, IIRC. Should be linked to in the "Guide to Guides" thread in the Player Guides section.

Quote:Also (although I still recommend trying them out) things like the Logitech G series (especially the original G15, or the new one) or brands like Saitek are made for gaming, and tend to be better about multiple presses. You can go into Menu > Options > Keyboard and select different keys for movement. You may find some that don't cause these internal hardware conflicts.
E.g., you can move the WASD movement keys to ESDF and see if that helps. If you're a touch typist with your fingers on the 'home row' keys, this set up makes better sense anyway.
Or, get a new keyboard. Go to a store with keyboards and display and try them out and see if they beep at you when you try chording the movement keys with each other. -

Quote:Read the sentence before the one about the Pocket D port.Postagulous is talking about the pocket D teleport power, not the tailor.
And notice the part I didn't bold. Post is implying tailors are level locked.Quote:Originally Posted by PostagulousAnother thing about Trina in Pocket-D, and this may be true for the tailor in RWZ too, but you can change your look at any level. -
As long as the Cyborg or Magic booster isn't already in the OP's possession.

Quote:Gets their missions banned quicker.Yup, you were told wrong by many people. Hall of Fame arcs are 'voted' there by the players. Believe me, if it worked as you were told, farmers would promptly band together and vote their arcs into the Hall of Fame. (Maybe they do already, but it doesn't get them anything.)

Just like Combat Jumping and Superjump, turning on any form of fly turns off all other forms of fly you have on, unless it's group frly from someone else.
-
Um, tailors have never been level locked. Costume contacts, sure, but never the tailor npcs.

Quote:The "Matrix Room" isn't an easter egg. Cool little spot, but easter eggs are put in the game to be found. The arena loading room doesn't count.Hmm why aren't Charlie Newland's Island and the Matrix Room linked to from the Easter Egg page?
PS - Would the Egg Hunter exploration page count as an Easter Egg? lol
Also, the Contact featured in my February calendar below might qualify a well. -

Give that program a try. It's great, works good; allows you to adjust most/all your settings out of game. -
Definatly odd.
Two things to try.
One, delete any files with "checksum" in the name/extension in the main City of Heroes folder.
Two, if one doesn't work, delete the updater program (or if paranoid, rename it to something like "oldupdater.exe") and re-download the updater via plaync's site.

That's all I got at this point of the night, for me. -
Won't do you any good for the month of March, but another feature of Going Rogue is due to be released at PAX-East on the 27th (or whatever that Saturday is).

Yeah, just send a tell to the global (so make sure to include the '@' symbol) of someone in the channel members list with a star by their name.

Every time you press the key. Text has no recharge time - and there is no way to make it only say the text if the power is recharged.
-
Yes. /bind KeyName "L <message text>$$powexec_name PowerName"
Will cause a messgae in local when the named key is pressed and activate the named power.
I cannot recal the command for activating a power by slot number and iPhones do not quite lend themselves to quick searches. For You, KeyName would just be 1, unless you want that bound to numpad 1, which is Num1 IIRC -
"Hey, Jack, remember that drunk dude who ran to the bathrooms to puke? Found out how he got back so fast... I am NOT goingto touch this console."

Quote:TG and Transfusion are two different beast. If the target dies TG still works. The same can not be said of Transfusion. If the heal works for Transfusion, then I would believe the proc would work as well.Yeah, I knowQuote:Yeah, this would be the best thing to do. I know it would work fine with Twilight Grasp, but that drops a psuedopet at the caster's, not the target's location, so different mechanics there.

Quote:I'm just saying - they've said if you buy the CE version, it does NOT grant the early access to DP or DS. But if you buy the regular version, it does. The way I read the information it seems it more of a 'buy the whole thing now and get access to it in a few months' than it is a typical 'pre-order'.
It makes sense since I believe that Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning are only available to players who've purchased GR. Since pre-orders can be canceled they'd have to remove access to characters, but if someone's already bought the thing there's really not as much an issue with that. -
Note - read that, and you notice the "CE" doesn't have a pre-order bonus, the standard edition does have the early-play pre-order bonus but no free month.
