  1. DAAAAAH, sorry, Bradders.
So, uh, I really like Blitzkrieg's look. She's my type.
  2. What? But you shouldn't need a permission to post there... You sure you're talking about the cohguru.com forums, Black Magistar?

And if interest is big enough, maybe I can offer n official forum poster, who knows? Beat my own number of characters record... *goes crazy*
  3. Sorry, Bradders, my mistake. :|
I'll post a poster preview in another thread soon, guys. The poster in itself was a CoHGuru project, therefore it wasn't announced on the official forum. Enlisting was closed end of October last year.

    Now Woot and Blitz, gogogo!

Big poster?? You mean there's another one bigger than alex's?!?!!? *Gasp*

[/ QUOTE ] If he has less than 110 characters, yes.

Thanks for not stealing my thunder, DB. I will post a preview of the poster as soon as it's ready.
  5. Hey everybody,

happy 2007 with the newest RPVision pic of Square Woot and Blitzkrieg Bop. Enjoy!

And if you wonder where I've been lately, it involves a poster with the highest number of CoH characters on it ever.

Poison and his meds and his nurse.

    [/ QUOTE ] I actually don't remember that myself...

But I remember being the number 2 poster after Bugbite. Man, I had too much time back then.

Jazz used to be called Jazzbot because of his immediate and always same "welcome to the forums" posts.

Beta-wise, I remember staying up REALLY late, since the beta testing times were 2-5am for me. Even worse that it was during my graduation...

Yankee Daring sadly never made it into the live game.
The Cow SG was called the Mad Cow Posse. I remember them coming online and broadcasting "MOO!", as a response to Phantom's "BOO!".

In only a month it'll be 5 years full of CoH memories for me. *sniff*
  7. Haha, sadly not! I SO want to draw one of those oversexed, big-boobed... I mean... *cough* uh... well-designed elf ladies is what I meant to say.
  8. Although I'll never give up on CoH, so far I have greatly enjoyed working on GW characters. The amount of detail in the costumes is great, as is the design per se. I've got FF11, L2 and WoW pieces coming up soon, so I'll see how it goes with them. Diversion is always good!
  9. And I got it, of course.

Here's another piece I finished recently which turned out... how to put it... a lot more... girl-like? than I had intended. But it was for a young, female player, so all is good.
    Tasha Darke (Guild Wars)
I suppose that is a popular armor for scouts. I've been told now that the Draco's Flatbow is one of the best in PvE combat... I should really try GW one of these days.
  10. I prefer if you use the commission form on my site or contact me by email, makes sure I get them.
  11. I so hope that I get to draw for Heavy Metal and then get Julie Strain to model for me...
For purely professional reasons, of course.
    Really.
    *hides*
  12. My cage door has been open since I got chained to my working desk. Gives me just the right amount of illusional freedom to keep me calm.
  13. *pokes Katfood* I created that page quite a while back now, you!
  14. Hey everybody,

I could say I'm back, but I never left. I just haven't been able to visit the forum as frequently as I used and would have liked to. But let this be said for the future, I've been here since 2001 and it will take a great deal to get rid of me.

So where were I? Of course I've been working on commissions from my page RP Visions. Then of course the usual work. And then I've been coloring several comics for the German market, one of which also be printed in the American summer special of Heavy Metal next year. Hey, if all goes well, I'll be drawing one for Heavy Metal as well, which absolutely rocks. So although I have been having far less time to hang out on the forum and play, I can't and won't complain about work.

And since this is the art forum, let's show off some of the stuff I did. First there is the artwork I did for the winners of a Guild Wars Guru contest (For those who just skip the posts, the art starts here) :

    Makkert Ii
    and
    Emerald Maiden

Then of course there's the supergroup pic I did for our very own Spinomania .
And for those who frequently visit my page anyhow and knew all those, a picture I only just finished and that hasn't even been added to the update, CoH's famous Halley's Comet, Masamune Shirow's style, as Halley wanted.

So that's from me for now. I'll really try to check in more often again, but if I can't, know that I'm around nonetheless.
And yes, I still do take commissions (who spread the rumors that I didn't anyway?).

    -P
  15. Did you know...

-that the game was originally announced for a May 2002 release? It was then delayed twice without exlanation until the new system (the one we know now) was introduced.

-that while Cryptic had no publisher, 3 forum members were the admins of the forum? It was Jazz, Geist and MacAllen, of whom only the first still plays (not sure about Geist though).

-Aura became the admin once NC took over.

-that we used to call Rick Dakan "Rick the pirate" because of a pic Statesman had posted of Rick in his Halloween costume.

Did you know that Poison was the first "known" forumite to have his Toon made in CoH Chararcter creator. All marvel'd at how accurat you could make it.

[/ QUOTE ] This was at E3 2003. BizGhost, a former SG mate of mine, went to E3, created Poison and took pics which he later posted. I used those pics in my Crey Profile early on.
What you don't know thought is that above named Aura sent me an email once CoH beta started and asked me where I had the screenshots from, since it would have been a violation of the NDA.

-Teleport didn't use to have the short hover period and you kept crashing down constantly, which is why Hover was a must for teleporters?

    Forum Girl Vote!

    Nobody mentioned Awry?
And is this about Forum Girl personalities or RL Forum Girls?
  17. Awesome, Rox! Looks good!
  18. I love the Calavera pic, for me it stands out. Great pose, shortening, the hands look awesome and the flower bracelets are a great addition that gives it a morbid "Fiesta de los Muertos" touch. That's definitely my favorite!

IF we were to ever add a way to get Isolator post-Tutorial, it would most likely be incredibly hard to get. Annoyingly hard. Irritatingly hard. There-would-be-a-zillion-people-asking-to-make-it-easier hard.

[/ QUOTE ] Don't sing it, bring it.

[The girl is great but of course it is confusing for him to turn into a girl. Thanks for your cool drawings.

[/ QUOTE ] I actually missed the part about him becoming the characters. Me so sorry! Make that Flame's gf then (no cooties, promise).
  21. Okay, did my renditions of Flame & Spike.
It's about time we got a heroine and a super pet, Spike the Super hedgehog! (although he turned out like a mix of a hedgehog and King Koopa...)

    Flame & Spike
  22. Too bad, was looking forward to draw Flame and Spike after finishing Rowr's pic. But they look cool!
  23. Okay, sorry it took me!

    Here you are,
    Smart Guy
    and
    Telly

    I hope you like them.
  24. Gah, why did nobody alarm me of this! I call dibs on Smart Guy and Telly!
Just give me a bit, since I found out at 11pm, lol.
