the knee is meh! the first night i mustve kicked the pillows off the bed i had it propped up on in my sleep cause when i woke up i was laying on my stomach dr said to follow up in 2 weeks and take it easy...but i will call today to get more info.

OK Folks!!! Tonight is our scheduled team night! 8pm est in Striga Isle by Stephanie Pebbles (Peebles?) 3 missions into her arc and the arc rewards the cool wedding band at the end! Id like to know whos going to be there, Im going to prop my leg on a tote with a pillow on top under my desk to play.
Hell I had surgery yesterday!! Whats your excuse for not beeing there tongiht!! -

Anyway, did they send you home with the "auto exercise" machine? Don't know if they still use those but if they do, make sure you use it. Don't want those new tendons to get all tight.
Re: WEC, they replayed about 3 or 4 Uriah Favor's fights. THAT is a dangerous man. Saw him knee his opponent in the face while his opponent had his other leg in a hold. Just crazy.
I have to call dr's office tomorrow for info on physical therapy and all that good stuff. He was busy today- had 14 surgeries in all. ty all...

Faber is just amazing, the more I watch him the more impressed I am by him..I cant wait for another rematch between him and Mike Brown, and there WIll be a 3rd fight between those two. IT'LL HAPPEN. -

Hello rookerizens! I have been home for several hours now. Very tired from the days events. I almost didnt make it to the hospital this morning. First, my folks said I could borrow thier van since the backseat was very wide nd cushiony for me to stretch out on for the ride home from surgery. My bro-in-law drove and my stepbrother went to accompany him. We were 18 minutes from our destination, according to Tom-Tom, when out of nowhere, there was no acceleration to the car!! The ****** just went.We called some people and thye told us the Ford WIndstars tend to do that- ****** dies without any warning or acknowledgement!!
So we had to sit there waiting for my stepdad to drive my SUV to us. He got there in good time, but I called the hospital to letthem know wed be 15 minutes late. Out of nowhere this car comes alongside us and decides he wants to be where we are, in the middle lane from the right lane he was in. AT THE SAME TIME AS US!! Luckily the driver in back of us and in the left lane saw what was going on and hit his brakes to allow us to slide over to avoid the collision.
We get to the hospital at 7:10am. sign in, and now have to wait because my family doctor...NEVER FAXED OVER THE PAPERS HE SAID HE DID ON FRIDAY!!!!
Finally, about 10:50am, theyre setting up the IV tubes and all good stuff...Surgery went smoothly, post-op recovery was a bit longer as I had only gotten an hours worth of sleep the night before.
But, I am home now, fell asleep, trying to get comfortable. Off my feet mostly and taking it very easy for a couple of weeks- doctors orders!
Have crutches to assist walking around for a couple of weeks. HAve my laptop, a HUGE stack of comics and a LOT of UFC and WEC on tivo to keep me busy. Only other 'complication' is my throat is a bit sore from the tube they put down my throat. But, that was expected.
Phew!! Some day, huh? -
And, off to bed..I'll try to get on tommorrow sometime after I get back from the hospital. I have no idea what time Ill be getting back or what condition I'll be in. Have a goodnight all!

My last breakfast before surgery tomorrow morning...better make it a good one..Pamcakes, waffle, french toast, bacon, sausage, OJ and coffee.And maybe an omelette with the works and whole wheat toast on the side. Thats good for starters. I think. -
