well..small, nice suprise.some of the family stpped by with birthdt cards and a couple og them had cash in them!! so money for gamestop tonight AND comic books wednesday!! unfortunately, my dad hasnt given me anything the previous 2 years. he showed up tonight with..a card...just a card...well, better than nuthin I guess..
but yeah vicodins, capt morgan and baclofex are always nice. zeppelin IS on my ipod as they are my alltime favorites. so, couldve been better, couldve been much worse.

oh, heroid, when I was younger Id get school clothes for my birthday. since school started right around the corner, but I always feel bad for those with birthdays at or near christmas.

For those who don't know, today's my birthday!! Since there isnt much celebrating going on in my real life and Im kind of physically incapacitated due to Im still recovering from knee surgery, I thought I'd celebrate with all my fellow Virtueites!!

There's a huge cake and various pies and other assorted goodies and, of course, since its me, plenty o' Guinness to go around. So, have fun and enjoy!!

I know some people will be leaving soon, so thank you all again for the birthday wishes and gifts and and..everything!!

Morals is dead....

Sadly I have to agree with this statement..I saved up between 6months and a years worht of comic books on 75% of my titles I read for post surgery recovery..
Sadly the message in them was this:
'For years now weve been the good guys doing the right thing. Waiting for the bad guys to do something and then just arrest them or try to talk them out of it. Where has that gotten us? Dead innocents and dead teammates. I say we take the fight to them and stoop to thier level!'
Um, great. So, the whole thing about badguys doing wrong and good guys not stooping to thier level is now out the window? greeeaaat....I remember when Wolverine was cool cause he was the 'anti-hero'. the problem is EVERYONE wants to be the 'anti-hero' now. So coolness>morals and being a hero. How is that better than being a villian? Its like blue vs red or home vs away team. Thats the only way to distinguish the two with this mindset. I dont mind the proactive approach sometimes but not the whole 'stoop to thier level' mentality.
And on a similar but different note, MIDNIGHT LAUNCH OF BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM!!! OMFG CNAT WAIT GOT MY COLLECTORS BOX SET RESERVED!!!! :d
