  1. Croatoa... a place where myth and fantasy still live...

So does this mean we might get a few more European mythological costume options, huh huh does it

Also is there a reason controllers need to play with trick arrows? I understand defenders, who will be learning archery...

  2. Well, it's a little unorthodox, but I'll take up your challenge there if you hold to it

I'll also take applications, which you can find on the web site -Pogo
  3. Hi RP fans,

I am pulling together a supergroup on the Infinity server that also produces informational articles about the CoH game and world. The name is Paragon Liberal College, and you've probably seen it mentioned on the boards or possibly on the streets of Infinity.

We currently have space for one or two writers like you guys, who like writing from the character's perspective and want to take part in a university-themed group. (If the 200+ page post is any indication, it seems a few of you might be interested.)

Currently we need a dean for our School of Law and Justice, someone who can write (or coordinate) a few short lessons on how justice works in a vigilante city. This includes information about how to deal with various types of contacts (i.e. Paragon City Police, M.A.G.I.) and case histories detailing some of the famiilar story arcs players might encounter.

Basically it's a guide to the missions and contacts, but you get to put a creative spin on it AND your Infinity hero gets to put their byline on it as a professor/dean of law. Four to five 600-1000 word stories make up a single class, when your average forum guide takes about 5000 words anyway.

We are still holding interviews for a Dean of Social Studies, someone who is interested in the little personal touches that make City of Heroes. We already have one player who can hopefully write about the history of early Paragon City heroism, though we're unsure whether he wants to take a dean position; social studies also typically include anthropology (human studies and interaction, i.e. archetype roles) and archeology to name two fields.

We do not enforce in-character chat or a dress code, though our first board of faculty and staff are keeping a low profile and a professional appearance. Through our production schedule and "class" mechanics, you will naturally RP an administrator in what will be a major MMO experiment.

Benefits include a regular influence stipend at the end of every 'term,' plus recognition and exposure that will spread throughout the server.

Other administrative positions like Director of Admissions are also open, for those who want to participate but don't care to write; check out our web site for more information and applications.

Whew that post got kinda long, but that's exactly what we're looking for and I hope it's something maybe a few of you are looking for as well.

Have a good one and don't hesitate with your questions, -@PogoOfGo
