  1. (OOC: Hehe...I haven't killed anyone...yet Unless you're a robot in the building, but robots aren't alive really...)

Asuka was outside the building, climbing out through a shaft when the EMP went off.
Instantly, all the lights in the building died and a bright flash emanated from the room she had left her phone. At the moment, it would just look like a simple power outage. Until people tried to use their cell phones or any computerized comm systems and found them to be dead as well.
  3. Asuka heard the gunshots outside and winced.
"Guess we lost the element of surprise..." she said.
She held up her cell-phone and pressed 3367 (OOC: take a guess...) and slammed the bladed portion into a nearby wall. A timer appeared on the phone's screen, counting down from 60.
"If you have any form of circuitry or ANYTHING computerized i'd recomend you get out of this building," she said as she began moving towards a ceiling vent.
  4. "I don't think blowing up the building would be advisable," Asuka said

(OOC: Why are people ignoring the two hairpins and cufflink gas-bomb flying through the air...?)

OOC: Cause..... they flew over Donald's head as he died due to the poisen?

    [/ QUOTE ]
(OOC: Ok that makes sense...that does mean the cufflink hit the wall and is still spilling out what little gas is left though.)
Asuka moved quickly, grabbing the watch from the unconscious and/or dead guy. Ryan could fool the guys outside but if they came inside and found a dead body with the signal watch on it, it would raise more questions than a dead body with no watch. Plausible deniability.
Asuka waited for Ryan to re-enter the room before tossing him the watch.
"Put it on," she said, turning to face the remaining people in the room, raising her cell phone stiletto
  6. (OOC: Why are people ignoring the two hairpins and cufflink gas-bomb flying through the air...?)
  7. (OOC: Asuka's not in the room prior to this, btw, in case I didn't make that clear...)
Asuka entered the room in time to see RYAN feeling drowsy. This wasn't going as planned...the gas was low-grade, a seasoned assassin wouldn't begin feeling drowsy for at least ten minutes. Why, the tiger took an hour...
Time for plan B 2.5.9... she thought.
Swiftly, she moved past Ryan, grabbing the cufflink and twisting off one end of it, revealing a small pointed edge, and threw it at the target, still leaking gas. She followed this up with two hairpins, which were coated with a slow-acting neurotoxin synthesized from cobra venom, and then pressing another button on her "cell phone" which cause a stiletto-like blade, roughly the length of the phone itself, to protrude out of the antenna slot.
She took a defensive stance, and waited.
  8. Asuka couldn't believe what had gone on. Too many dead bodies. When she had passed Ryan earlier, she had slipped a small device into his suit. It looked like a cufflink, but in fact it contained a few drops of a sleeping gas, scentless, but just a whiff would knock a tiger out for about 10 minutes. Asuka had to assume Ryan was close enough to at least one of the targets by now, and that he was trained in some way to resist this kind of poison. With a push of a button on her "cell phone", a tiny shutter on the cufflink opened, mixing the two chemicals and allowing them to spread. She had taken a gamble that she hoped would pay off.
(OOC: If this doesn't work, lemme know. And if sneaking something onto Ryan would be difficult, let's just say he knows about it.)
  9. "Do we have access to voice changers? If so, Val and I could swipe the UN guy's cell phone and call to change the location of the drop to somewhere more convenient," Asuka said, "I learned from experience that there's always contact between the two parties just in case of compromising situations."
  10. "Neither do I, which is why we shouldn't try," Asuka said, "If we try to take money, the job's difficulty goes up. Plus it leaves unnecessary finger prints, and there's always the risk that he puts a tracking device on his money. You may think I'm kidding..."
  11. [ QUOTE ]
"Asuka and I can be lovley destractions for him... it's be nice to have a small bite... if not, the bite I mean, I'll just play my part, come on, I was mad when I was seventeen, I can't look too old?" She looked around the group, "I don't, do I?"

    [/ QUOTE ]
Asuka grinned again, "Two works better than one."
  12. (OOC: Typically assassinations where they've hired two assassins of the opposite gender of the target would include known "interests". Asuka's a seasoned assassin trained since she was a kid. She lead a 4-(wo)man team of assassins when she was a Widow. Add to that, true shinobi prefer poisoning and blending in to outright chopping someone's head off.)
"A lolicon? Splendid..." Asuka said, grinning.
She's short, 5' 2", and relatively flat chested. With the right clothes and an "attitude adjustment" she could pass for early teens.
She turned to Void, however, "If you really have to wonder what someone would do with a nuke, it's really more beneficial when used as a threat than actually using it. A smart person wouldn't use it, since it would cause a worldwide holocaust. If a stupid person used it, we stand a chance of being hired to make sure it doesn't get off the ground. Either way, we win."
  13. Asuka looked over the profile information.
"This doesn't tell me anything useful, and seems to suggest drugging would be a good idea," she said
  14. Asuka chuckled at Void's response.
"Personally, for retrieving a nuke as well as killing two people capable of getting a nuke, all the while taking special pains to make it look like an accident...that $200,000 must be EACH or it's not really worth it," she said plainly, "Also, is there more information on the guys? Do they have any interests or fetishes we can exploit? Because it's entirely possible to give a man that age a heart attack with some excitement and a little bit of a 'personal touch'"
  15. Asuka eyed the laptops. It was odd that he had noticed her voice recorder, considering it was still in her coat pocket.
  16. Asuka stepped in and had a seat one the couch. She reached inside her coat and hit a switch. Whenever she discussed a job that couldn't be put in writing, having audio documentation proved valuable.
  17. Asuka scoffed at the idea. Her very body was filled with little "modern conveniences" Arachnos had decided to put into her body.
"When we're talking business, don't use my real name," she said, a strong chill in her voice.
  18. "Not one for the glory of modern conveniences, eh?" Asuka said to the old man.
  19. "Don't judge a book by it's cover," Asuka said, smiling.
  20. (OOC: Skipping ahead...)
Asuka was next to arrive at the apartment. It seemed squalid, but she had seen worse. At least the rats and little kids weren't fighting over the dog excrement.
She approached Vallery and introduced herself.
"Greetings, I suppose you're here for the job too?"
  21. [ QUOTE ]
"take him down!" yelled darkgun as he fired a few rounds into the giant stone monster.

    [/ QUOTE ]
(OOC: Sorry, but you need to specify which one and they're both metal, not stone.)
  22. (OOC: BTW, as in the other thread(s) i use Asuka in, /'s in quotes denote she's speaking in Japanese)
"/Are you Japanese?/" she asked Shinji.
  23. Three shots hit the head, but they were seemingly too far apart to intiate the effect the other had.
Two shots connected on the shoulder of the giant, causing it to bulge and explode, and fall uselessly to the ground.
  24. "Business," she said, still feigning cheer, "I think I might have to kill someone."
  25. Asuka overheard the flight attendant reject some kid's request for wine. She turned to look and saw that he was about the same age as her, and that he was sitting across the aisle.
Her intuition told her something was suspicious about him, however. On her laptop she accessed a database containing the registration information of pretty much every super powered being in the Rogue Isles. She entered some physical descriptors, and before long narrowed down the list to Void Brawler (OOC: as noted before, she has Arachnos connections, obtaining access to the database and routinely copying it to her harddrive just involved three phone calls and a bribe) based on his physical appearance.
"So, what are your plans in Rome?" she turned and asked, feigning cheer.
