  1. (OOC: That definately works )
"\Ok guys we have a monkey to beat!\" Sae commanded.
Sae's entire team, minus Chiyoko, exited the crawler.
Sae drew her pistols, Eichiro readied his mallet, Ryuji prepared an ice shield around himself and Chihaya, and ZERO summoned(OOC: summoning works, btw, I was curious because it sounded like the zombies came out of the ground) a large gatling gun in one hand and a large cannon in the other.
Sae leapt towards the beast, narrowly avoiding the debris from its attack. She opened fire on the beast's arms. She cringed when it shrugged them off as little more than mosquito bites.
ZERO meanwhile began firing at the beast's head, inflicting slightly more damage.
Chihaya took out her sacred baton, and uttered an incantation. On the ground in front of her, a beast resembling Fuega, but with a more sleek appearance, appeared in a gust of wind. Chihaya mounted the beast and took off to the air.
She began calling down lightning on the beast, not dealing much damage but doing something.
Ryuji, meanwhile, began launching ice darts at the beasts legs, causing much of it to freeze. His goal was to freeze its legs to the ground.
Eichiro, meanwhile, stayed back to protect the crawler.
  2. "I think we're too evenly matched, then," Reishi said, catching the blade with her feet and holding herself up with both arms. She then pulled the blade out of Becky's hands and flung it across the arena while springing to her feet to face her.
"Y'wanna call it a draw and go beat the crap out of everyone else? After that we can flip a coin and the loser falls down," Reishi proposed.
  3. (OOC: If all the crawlers went through the portal so would all the demons out there. Add to that there's no way that the superiors could know that the portal is a one way trip or not i.e. no way to get out once you go through and close the portal. They wouldn't want to risk their entire offensive force on one strike through one portal.)

Meanwhile at Akihabara, the demon had breached the first line of defenses and came face to face with the Mecha defenses. The child didn't do more than walk forward, but the shadow struck out at the mecha, destroying a number of them and killing many soldiers. What was worse, the shadow didn't seem to be affected by any weapons, and it would stop any ammo aimed at the child with its claws.
  4. (OOC: There's only ONE crawler beyond the portal)
  5. "Only three?" Asuka smirked, "This would be a lot more interesting if I were using weapons, but for now..."
She focused her chakra(...or was is chi? She never had a single name for it....) into her fist and slammed it into the ground.
A strong gust of wind emanate from the source, pushing all three shinjis far away from the center and into the walls.
"Ring out, hehe," Asuka said and walked off.
  6. (OOC: No seriously...we're in another plane of existence with no human corpses around...)
  7. "Alright, so be it," Reishi let Becky's sword cut into her shoulder, "that hurt, but this'll hurt more."
Reishi slammed her hands together on Becky's ears. She then grabbed her wrists and pushed her foot into Becky's chest.
"Give up, kid, and I'll stop," Reishi said.
  8. (OOC: Where are the zombies coming from?)
  9. (OOC: Like I said, she sees beyond space, time, and planes. She doesn't need to see directly into your mind, she can see back to a point when you actually said those words. But she doesn't see everything at once, she usually has to focus to see details. I'll just say now that she's the reason that anyone is alive in Tokyo right now, and that she shouldn't technically exist. I'll get into more detail with her later but until then you'll just have to trust me and roll with this.)

    The Ginza portal.
The small battalion of tanks pulled up to the portal and were immediately swarmed by large demons shaped like snakes, and some looking like giant turtles.
"Ignore everything, don't shoot or stop," Chiyoko said.
The distraction worked, and before long the tank went barreling through the portal.
On the other side, they were greeted by a massive gorilla-like demon, easily larger than the tallest building on earth.
"Now, we fight..." Chiyoko said, looking down...or at least it looked like she was looking down.
  10. (OOC: Chiyoko's role in all this is VERY VERY important. Her psychic power isn't so much 'reading' as it is 'seeing'. She sees through time, space, and across physical and metaphysical planes. So it's not so much she's invading your thoughts as she is looking at it through a telescope. That said, she knows a lot more about everyone than she's letting on, and knows that to ensure people know the extent of her power, she makes a demonstration. She's very complicated, but other than being able to see basically anything, she has no powers other than a couple incantations she memorized for dealing with demons and summoned beings.)
  11. "We can't leave without Chiyoko, ZERO, and Sae, none of which are here right now," Ryuji said.

Meanwhile, ZERO had finally found Sae. She was sitting down in one of the closed down train stations, rather than her room.
    "Um, hello...Sae," ZERO said.
Sae's eyes went wide as she looked at ZERO increduously.
    "Yu-Yuka?" she said.
"I don't know," ZERO said sadly, "maybe...I'll find out. But, right now we have a job to do."
Sae wiped the tears that had begun to form, and follow her friend. There was hope.
Back at the crawler, Sae was giving orders to the soldiers accompanying them, while Eichiro and ZERO began loading large casks covered with seals into the main crawler.
"Hm, where's Chiyoko?" Ryuji asked allowed.
"Sorry to keep you waiting," a stately man with a handlebar mustache and suit said, escorting a frail looking girl with a red blindfold over her eyes, dressed in a much fancier version of the miko robes.
"I had to use the bathroom," the girl said, smiling. Her voice was weak, small.
"So you really think we humans are a long way away from becoming an advanced society?" Chiyoko said to Allen in a language only he and his troops understood, "Well I find advancement comes in many shapes and sizes."
"Alright everyone, we're gonna roll out! My team is going straight into the portal, the rest of you are going to keep the demons occupied!" Sae announced before getting inside the crawler.
"Ready when you are, boss!" Ryuji said as he walked past Allen, with Chiyoko on his arm.
(OOC: Yes, Chiyoko is psychic, a POWERFUL psychic. She's not actually blind, and I'll explain why she wears a blindfold later)
"Before I forget..." Chiyoko said, turning around to face the mage's construct and holding up her hand.
She muttered something in a language far too complex for someone of her age to speak so well. The skull dissipated.
"Mage, your kind killed Ryuji's father and mother, and the encounter was what caused his power to manifest. Don't take it personal, he didn't fully trust Chihaya until she got that scar protecting him," Chiyoko explained.
(OOC: Thus why she's a national treasure...)
  12. "Hey thanks! You got the kink out of my back!" Reishi exclaimed, "But y'know what? I think it's time for me to beat the crap out of you."
Reishi leapt up in the blink of an eye, behind Becky, and slammed her to the Earth below. Becky didn't hit the ground, however, instead she connected with Reishi's knee. Reishi followed up with a punch that sent Becky flying towards one of the walls, but she never connected with that either, instead meeting Reishi's fist in an uppercut that sent her flying high into the air, where Reishi leapt and administered a series of punches and kicks to Becky's torso, wrapping everything up with a hammer-like kick that sent her back to the ground.
Reishi landed heavily, creating two cracks where her feet touched the ground. She stood up and stretched her muscles. Some of them still hurt from previous attacks, but it wasn't anything she wasn't used to.
  13. "The demons are twice as active at night. I thought that'd be obvious to someone like you who conducts rituals in the moonlight," Ryuji scoffed. He hated mages.

Meanwhile at Lookout Post 5 at Akihabara Base...
The lookouts never expected this. The automated guns and auto-piloted mecha would usually take out the demons that tried to enter, but this one was different.
It looked like a little boy, walking down the street, except its aura was of pure malice. Any mecha that got near it was smashed into scrap and hurled away.
When the soldiers finally saw it, they noticed too late that its shadow didn't match its image. The shadow they saw was of a massive, winged demon...
    The alarm sounded in Akihabara...
  14. Asuka caught Shinji's hand and flung him over her head onto the mat in front of her.
Then she pushed down on his neck with her left hand, and hit points on his shoulders and chest.
"Good luck standing up," she smiled and let go.
  15. Sacred East Wind will be there!
    ...
    ...
... Y'know i just realized the other RP characters I use either can't or don't exist in game...
  16. "Puh," Reishi got up, "Aight kid, you wanna brawl with me? Okay then..."
Reishi stomped onto each of Becky's feet, and held her their with the weight of her body, and then punched Becky in the stomach, causing her to lean forward, and then right in the jaw, while still stepping on her feat.
  17. (OOC: ;_; Ryuji's a BOY!)

"\So we're in agreement then\," the commander of the Akihabara base, Uehara Mitsuo, said.
"\I guess so...we play music to keep the morale up and you forget the disturbing the peace and public urination charges\?" Kouhei asked.
"\Wait, public urination\!?" Shuji asked increduously.
    "\I...had to go...really bad\," Pan replied.
    "\All over the detective's desk\..." Shiina added.
"\Very well, you may go\," the commander finished, "\We'll give you a call when we have a date for your first performance\."

Once they were outside again, Shiina turned to Shuji.
"\Why didn't you just call your sister or aunt and have them get us out\?" she asked him.
"\I didn't wanna bother them. Sae's got some crazy mission goin on...of course she always says that these days\," Shuji said.
Soon, the American-made mecha stopped in front of the base, right next to the band.
"\Sweet\," Pan said, admiring the design.
"\It'll prolly fall apart in a week...\" Shiina said pessimistically.
  18. (OOC: You'll need to actually reach Akihabara base first. I have something planned but need someone actually there for it.)
  19. The energy punches stung, but not as much as a sword to the head would.
"Bruce Lee didn't die IN BATTLE!" Reishi brought her hands together and stopped the blade with her bare hands.
"Like that? I had to spend ten months learning kenjutsu before I could do that. Stupid teacher wouldn't teach me."
She followed up by slamming her foot into Becky's chest, while still holding the blade.
"Y'know, I had a sword once. It was called Kamui, and it was huuuuuuuge," Reishi drove her foot into Becky's chest again, "I stopped using it when I realized it was only effective for cutting down trees."
  20. "Pain is but a fact of life, girly," Reishi mocked, "I wouldn't be as strong as I am if I couldn't handle pain!"
Reishi launched herself directly at becky and stopped when her face was less than an inch away from hers.
"Funny thing 'bout swords, though, they're long, sharp, and hurt like hell, but they don't work so well this close," Reishi said.
She bent her fingers at the knuckle and placed her hand, knuckles first, at Becky's stomach, one inch away. With impressive speed and power, she drove her fist directly into Becky's gut.
"You've heard of Bruce Lee? Well that was the One Inch Punch!"
  21. Reishi was still for a moment. No more than a few seconds. Then, she stood up. The beast was gone.
"[censored] that hurt like a [censored]!" she exclaimed, "Glad I got control...stupid beast doesn't heal itself."
She looked up at Becky and grinned.
"'Fool' is right...I haven't lost a hand to hand fight for 3 years!" she grinned.
Reishi leapt back towards Becky. The sword wound to her stomach hurt, and there was still some residual pain from the arm, but she'd be fine for this fight. She grabbed Becky's legs and hurled her towards the ground.
"See, that monster thing inside me can't heal itself, but can't feel pain either. I CAN heal myself, but I feel the pain," Reishi explained as she landed and walked towards Becky.
  22. The arms snapped back into place, it was as if she couldn't even fathom pain. Instead, it just made her more angry. The tendons in her left arm were snapped, giving the real Reishi inside a feeling of great pain, and diminished the use of the arm about fifty percent for the next minute or so.
Reishi rose up to meet Becky and grabbed her sword by its blade with her left hand, ignoring the pain, or rather...not feeling it. She then drove her fist right into Becky's throat.
  23. The bruise was nothing. Under normal circumstances, a small bit of concentration and the bruise would be gone.
It didn't even faze this berserker, however.
On the ground, Reishi jammed both her fists into Becky's sides, repeatedly. After about five hits, she began to pull at her legs with truly savage strength.

Meanwhile, the war of attrition for control over her mind raged within.
  24. Reishi's mind wasn't 'crushed' as Schizo had hoped.
No, what happened was much, much worse.
By attempting to destroy her mind, he had instead activated a mental trigger, suppressed in the dark corners of her mind.
The animalistic look in her eyes increased. No longer a focused martial artist, she was in a complete frenzy.
Internally, the wounded mental manifestation of Tenryuu Reishi did battle with the mental manifestation of this savage form.
With ease, Reishi slammed her fist into Becky's jaw, sending her flying across the arena.
  25. Reishi grinned widely.
"So, ye ain't human, cool, I don't have to hold back then," she said.
Reishi cared nothing for special powers or other hoodoo. If it could fight, that's all she cared about.
Instead she delivered a powerful kick to his head, followed by an overhead slam onto his shoulders.
If she couldn't beat him by attacking his vitals, she'd just pound the crap out of him.
